Tour Inside $62M Los Angeles Futuristic Mansion at Collingwood Place 

Beverly Hills has always been the home of homes for those living a billionaire lifestyle. One such place is Collingwood Place - specifically, the futuristic mansion at 1301 Collingwood place.
This scenic mansion was designed by Olson Kundig, and is on a hill overlooking Los Angeles. Inspired by an industrial organic modernity, the construction process took 6 years to complete. The compound around it is fit for entertainment, and it can host gatherings of up to 250 people. It’s a 5 bedroom, 8 bathroom home. The house has 15,642 square feet of space. On the property, there’s a 15 car garage and an olive tree grove, as well as a rooftop pool.
It overlooks the LA skyline, and giant floor to ceiling windows surround the deck on all sides. In addition to the big sliding doors, there’s an infinity pool and some lounge chairs for some poolside fun. There’s also a spa and some beautiful architecture surrounding the balcony.
The interior design of this house in California is top-notch, opting for wide
open spaces and huge windows that provide fantastic scenic views. No expense was spared in construction, and nearly every room has a couch, chairs, or tables for hosting guests, which means you can throw massive parties in this billionaire mansion.
The infinity pool has some interesting features, as well, with a wooden screen that folds into the ceiling for access to it from the second story. Talk about a futuristic mansion! There are also a few statues present throughout the poolside area, which lend an element of elegance. There’s a fireplace with access points on both the interior and exterior of the house by the pool, and just above it is another lounge area with an even larger outdoor fire pit.
This house is currently selling for $55 million. While many of the features seem worth it, for comparison, many of the other homes around it sell anywhere from $5 million to $20 million. That makes it hard to put a bead on any of the actual property values here. However, most of the homes on the cheaper end are also much, much smaller - 5 to 10 times smaller - which makes the price tag seem a lot more reasonable by comparison.
