After building a wheelset with I9 Torch Hubs about 10 years ago and finding out the cassette wouldn't come off because the freehub body was so boogerd after only about 8 months I never used those hubs again. My last 3 wheelsets I built where with ONYX hubs and I like and use all 3.

I9 is great but they are not the world best hub manufacturer. When you look passed the high POE, DT Swiss hubs are far superior everywhere else are in my opinion. The internet is a bit quiet about it but Hydra hubs are fragile and need a LOT of maintenance and they do skip from time to time.
