I'm in Japan now working from the US. I've found a sweet old Space Gear here I'm going to try and get back home. What a great Armageddon vehicle these things will make.
I love this kind of engineering, where the seats can swing around 360 degrees, and you can put them all down to make a bed. Such cool features that you dont see in many other vehicles. Also the "crystal lite roof" is really cool too, it looks good and it also brings in a lot of light into the van. Love these Mitsubishi L300/L400 Delicas. Thanks for showing off yours, hoep you enjoy it for years to come.
Hi, just bought a 2004 Delica Space Gear (V6, 3litre, petrol or as you guys call it "gas"). Love the Delica! Looking forward to having some good times when the covid lockdown eases. Hope to see more of your adventures, Rob (UK).
One of the best videos I could find going over all the interior reconfiguring. Awesome - thanks for making this! Can't wait for my 2004 Delica to come in!
Thanks, informative and interesting. I live in NZ and have just bought 2000 model, 2.8 auto Space Gear but its still on the boat from Japan.I want to make a more permanent. camper conversion. Love the bigger tires but 35" is too high for me, maybe. 31 or. 32 " with 1.5" lift kit.I look forward to following your adventures.
Love the bus, these are the best vehicle in general as far as I am concerned. Got one myself, a lwb super exceed series 2, took me over a year of searching to find one unmodified, lwb s2 with diesel engine are very rare so when it came up on auctions with grade 4 sheet and low miles I had to have it regardless of cost. No regrets, it is in like brand new condition. Anyway, make sure you do rust protection underneath as these are prone to rusting, it makes sense to protect it when metal is healthy rather than fixing later, these vans need to be saved. Oh if you are ever changing those arches (the white bits, black trim is just an add on) for bigger arch let me know 😁, I would buy them from you. I also got a few parts from 2006 facelift : grill and another mma grill, front bumper with fogs, rear roof spoiler, 5 mikey thompson 16" wheels and managed to find 3 elford arches but missing front right. I will be making molds of the complete front fog lip and rear spoiler, maybe even grill too as these parts are highly sought after and hard to get nowdays, replacements would be impossible to get. If you ever decide to do something like that with your arches let me know, I would be willing to participate in that which ever way. Sorry for long essay and treat her nice 😤.
Thanks for commenting! I agree with you on the rust. Huge problem for these vans! I'm going to be doing a video soon on the process. Stay in touch regarding the molds and perhaps in the future we could work something out! Always happy to here from passionate delica owners! It's a great community 👍 Cheers🤙
Delicagarage is out of Australia they have a great online store. There's also coombs country autos here on Vancouver Island they are a great source for all things Delica, Cheers!

Hey, really nice Delica. I just got a Black 2006 Delica Space Gear Active Field Edition with a 3.0 liter petrol engine and a 3” lift. It has 245x70/R16 BFG AT tyres and the wheels look exactly like yours. The seller didn’t know the brand or model and I can’t see any logos or text on the inside or outside of the rims. Do you know the brand and model of your wheels as I only have 4 and need to buy a spare.
I don't have an answer for you at the moment, I haven't been able to find any identification on the lift. I will update though when/if I can figure it out, cheers!
Any chance you want to sell it? 🙏🏽🙏🏽🤞🏽 I’m looking for one and I’d like for it to be already in the states. The red light is likely also a light discipline feature for stealth camping so it’s not obvious someone is inside with a light on.
Hi Raquel, I definitely appreciate your interest, the van still needs 2 years before it's eligible to be imported into the U.S. I'm going to hang onto it for a while! Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers🤙
I actually just brought two into the us if you want feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about the process info@traxoffgrid.com. Sorry elevated not trying to steal anything from your channel
nice...here in Phlippines rhd is totally banned we instead convert them to LHD for it to be legal...this cars cost US$3000 average inclusive of conversion.
