Great job as usual Jose, as the son of a WW2 veteran, I appreciate the time you take to appreciate those that served our country. You always do a great job explaining the history of an area. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, My family has a strong military background and dedication to our troops is in almost every town yet not many bother to reflect on that history. Even if its a brief mention I love going through those pieces of an area
June the 8th 1931 I was born in Mercer Hospital in Trenton. Now 93 years old I still have many great thoughts of Trenton. We hear so many things that are negative about Trenton, Thank you for showing the bright sides. I now live in Yuma, AZ , but still think of all the good times I had in Trenton. Great Reporting!
Thank you for the kind feedback, its an honor. Every city and town has there pro's and cons, we just have to look around and remember the great times and history that always outweigh the negative.
Really enjoyed an appreciate you're tour and the notes that you shared. I'm preparing a visit, and this was a great introduction to Trenton and Princeton! Great visuals, too.
Great job! Have you ever been over to Boonton? I hear they have a nice town in the mountains with a lot of history and a small waterfall. Love the content!
Hi Karen, Scranton was my very first video back in 2020 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XbqSa4dRxqg.html) The style is a bit different since I was trying to find my flow so it was more vloggish. I am planning a big re-visit for this fall as I cover the Pocono Mountains.
The NJ state capitol---the reconstruction is still going on creating an eyesore, no landscaped grounds, no statues, no monuments except WW2 across State St which is a walking tripping nightmare for visitors. The Trenton Battle Monument is impressive, but no other sites are acknowledged. Pennsylvania for visitors is far more worthy of our time and money.
that's a shame. I was going to do a follow up to NJ soon and wanted to go back. I've visited a couple of state capitols on my channel and really don't want NJ to be the only one without proper representation.
I really struggled with saying Trenton and Princeton and tried to correct it in the voice over narration. It was the windiest weekend when I filmed the video and couldn’t believe I pronounced it incorrectly having been there so many times.
I think that sometimes thats tip toeing issues with a lot of these past leaders and mentioning them in video. Many of them have dark history so I try to add them to a contribution like Princeton versus praising them directly while keeping a balanced program.
