I luv Korea but no longer exotic at all anymore. Everybody goes there now. Its like going to Disneyland, its the Europe of the east. Lao and Cambodia should given a shot.
The eels look very delicious but they are very expensive at the restaurant in Korea. So I usually buy the seasoned eels at the big mart such as E-mart or Lotte mart and cook them at home. There are 3 big marts in korea which are E mart, Lotte Mart and Homeplus. they are like Walmart in usa.
Absolutely modern, clean and beautiful city. No wonder why my neighbors are always visiting their city! And oh, let's not forget the Food. Thanks Mark and Ying for that great treat.
Hello Mark & Ying! Dongdaemoon Se Gjung 동대문 시장 ( Eastgate Market ) Those drink is called yo-koo-ru-t. There is another big market called Westgate Market Seudaemoon Se Gjung (서대문 시장) in Soul! 👍😋
I have a question for your Q&A time Mark.....how do you work it with your income and income tax? Do you have an accountant? Are you salaried along with traveling expenses, to whom would you pay income tax and so forth. Thank you.
I love your videos n everything about it bt I just want to say is that why not do something different n go to some place where RU-vid hasn't reached or those foods unexplored or not tasted before a camera... With love from Nagaland....
Sir you are a pure gastronomer, I really love to see the way you enjoy every bit of your food, and the expression of your face as well,😊 and your Wife she is really cool with the camera, God bless both of you ..(love from India, Kolkata).
I was watching that episode where you ate with your dad on father'sday the other day 23 and me said your dad was born in Kansas you made the remark it's not a destination place to eat you come to Wichita Kansas I'm going to show you. I know some phenomenal places to eat fry red snapper with the red curry sauce.
It's the same brand you are thinking of. Yakurt. Korean company bought the license from the Japanese company back in the 60s I think. They are basically the same brand.
When my husband and I visited Korea couple of months ago, my husband wanted to eat Eel all the time. We had eel bbq 4 times during our 2 week stay in Korea.
I was in Gwangjang Market and stay in Hongdae area about March this year...... Ahh.. Really miss the food, the weather and the vibes there.... especially the streetfood as well..
hello mark.. i really love you and your content.. i love your channel.. i love your vlogs house tours airlane tour food tour and all... your doing amazing.. keep it up lots of love from pakistan
That was amazing value at the Eel Restaurant considering the amount of food and quality, as well as having the server prepare everything and guiding you through how to experience it the best 👍👍👍
The BBQ eel looks delicious and fun. It seems like there is some decent ventilation in that restaurant. If not, your intense smokey aroma will overpower everyone on the plane!
I would want to know on what how she films when his walking, backwards or is it a front Cam? Strong woman you got there Mark, don't let go. Till food do you apart
The funny thing is, some viewers complained that Mark has the "same facial expression" when he is enjoying the food, aka not describing how it tastes. Different strokes for different folks I guess :)
I disagree, he needs to find better ways to express what he's tasting verbally, as his facial expressions don't vary much and viewers need more information about what he's experiencing.

Mark, I was born near Chung-Gae Chun! I left Korea 34 years ago. I think the stream is most beautiful in early Autumn. Though I went back to Korea many times, I have not been there in early Autumn. Thanks for the video.
Having it with eel is about the only time I'll have raw ginger, and they go so well together because the eel is so oily and rich, and the ginger really offsets the savoriness.
Hi Mark, consider venturing outside of Seoul; such as Kanwan Do; visit Jejudo; or the smaller islands or the Napoli of Korea, TongYoung. Those places have much more to offer than the city concrete jungles.
Thanks Mark! We are heading to Seoul tonight and will be there for five days. Perfect timing!!!! Follow me on IG @chrisfabiantravels and our little girl @riverrosetravels
