Thanks for the video, David. The hard work that wristwatch designers and manufacturers put into their products is incredible. The quality of the materials, the testing (in Omega's case, stringent METAS testing), craftsmanship during assembly, the decorations on the metals visible via see-through case backs, and the designs. Small wonder they cost a pretty penny. Omega is historic for its accomplishment like the Speedmaster and what they've added along the way, like their co-axial escapement. Simply wonderful timepieces.
I visit this museum in May of this year, it was really cool, even the swatch museum ! Don’t forget it, It’s free and people other there are so nice ! Great experience
I have a few Omegas and compared to the other brands I own, Omega’s fit and finish is superior. Whenever I’ve purchased one and opened the box for the first time, the way the light hits off the details of the finish, the way it feels in my hand, is mesmerizing and just screams luxury. (And this includes used, decade or more years old pieces off eBay!) They’re so much more luxurious, solid and reliable than my other watches (looking at you Tudor 👀). I have owned other “luxury” brands that needed warranty work within a month of purchasing brand new but never an issue with my used or new Omega’s!! For those considering one, buy it, they’re great!!
I've been living here for quite a while now and I've never visited the museum yet. So I'm hesitant with watching that video of something that I could actually see by myself 👀 I watched it anyway

Excellent video, David. I really enjoyed it. I am also a big fan of Omega. I have a nice Omega collection and still going. They are an incredible brand. My family and I plan to visit Switzerland and stop at the Omega museum next summer. I am looking forward to it. Thank you.

Being an owner of an Omega Speedmaster, Seamaster 300 Diver and the NTTD watch this place is a 'shrine' to me. Love the music score too! Many thanks for posting David! Awesome!

I keep dropping hints to my wife that I want to visit the Omega museum. I think though she'd be worried that I'd buy another watch while I'm there! ;-) I think until we have a new Bond announced, Omega should make you an official ambassador ;-)

Undecided am going back to Piz Gloria next year, so to get to this museum and park as I am not a VIP will be one big pain. also was interesting to see that they don't have on show the Limited Edition watches EG: 40th, 50th, Anniversary and the Casino Royale with the OO7 on the hands. I wonder if on the Swatch floor if they have the 2 Bond sets on show?

Yes the OMEGA watches have a unique gravitas. I own a few and my grail is the Moonwatch. After I had put it on my wrist, it had destroyed any other watch in my collection. I am devastated 😂

I was hoping to see a glimpse of T.E. Lawrence's(Lawrence of Arabia) watch that is on display there because what does Lawrence and Bond have in common?: Being spies that wears Omega watches.
I bought a used Omega Seamaster recently - checked the serial number and it's OLD! More than thirty years, and its absolutely flawless, so if anyone is ummming and ahhhhing about buying an Omega, I can confirm that it will be an investment as they definitely last!
I've owned many of both and I would disagree. The Rolex's have been sold on and I write this with an Omega 2220.80 Seamaster Professional 300m on my wrist.
