I am jealous of your Matterhorn view! When I was at the Matterhorn in 2000, it was shrouded in fog and clouds for 3 full days and despite all the peripheral hiking, I never saw the damn thing. It's on my "to be redeemed" list...

I have a question. I always hear that real estate is so expensive. So, is a lot of property passed down from generation to generation or the young people just have to deal with huge debt to get a house?

Breathtaking alpine scenery! As a Kiwi, I am familar with this kind of landscape (and used to the compliments it draws from tourists) but you can almost feel a sense of enchantment in the Swiss Alps that calls to mind old fairy tales and legends. Beautiful video!

While in France, my family and I went to the French Alps, to a small lake town called Annecy near the Swiss border. This is taking me back, because it looks very similar, just on the other side of the mountains. And yes! The happy cows! They are everywhere, free range and so happy and healthy. Such a difference in food quality in those areas. I hope you got to enjoy some Génépi. Very special to the Alpine regions. I brought a bottle back home to enjoy when I am missing being there. Thanks for the video, one of the few traveling ones that I can actually semi relate too, lol!
