In tour, they did absolutely amazing with the music. I definitely have high hopes for Vancouver velocity. Being such a banger in Mario Kart 8 deluxe, same goes for Los Angeles laps!

If Singapore is a 10/10 track, both in gameplay and ESPECIALLY visuals, then I'm pumped for whatever wave 5 has, and hyped for Vancouver Velocity in the 6th wave (assuming it's the 6th wave, considering how autumny/wintery the whole track feels).

God this track is so fucking good. Visually stunning, I just love that night skyline aesthetic. The music sounds like a party. There's like 3 glider sections and they're all super fun. The only shitty part about it is the fact that I keep wanting to drift into the arrows at the start of Lap 2 lmao

This might sound out of place but hearing this theme always reminds me of Cruis’n blast specially the Singapore speed way. The music that plays on that track is called “life feels so good” and had the same party vibe like this. I remember playing it and thought “man this would be sick if it ever was a Mario kart track” and after 11 month here we are. And yes I knew it was it tour obviously but I still thought about wanting it to be in mario kart deluxe and I’m so glad it is :)

I've heard people say that they prefer Tour's version of the synth in the second half, and I also felt that way for a short while, but now I actually prefer 8 deluxe's version because this new synth fits so well with describing its placement in the cup. It just screams, "THIS is the *GRAND FINALE* of Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass!!!"

Singapore Speedway was supposed to be the first race of the Boomerang Cup, but they swapped Los Angeles Laps with Bangkok Rush and rearranged their order.

What funny about all this I’m 16 my first mario kart game was wii when I was 6 or 7 and I always wanted Nintendo to make a Mario kart game where they race on tracks based on real life places just never thought they do that until Tour came out yeah tour has had it flaws and still has some those of us that play tour can admit it has gotten better

So Singapore is home to the Marina bay and Marina bay sands, and Nintendo chose EDM for this track. If this is a refrence to Marina from Splatoon 2 that would be awesome.

Why...why can't we set the Sounds manually in MK8? The music is way to quiet and the Sound effects too loud. I would Love to adjust this. MK8 has such a great Soundtrack but you can't really appreciate it during the race because all the other stuff is 2-3 Times louder than the music

I wouldn’t say the fanbase likes any Tour course. The way I see it is: The fans have some extent of bias against Tour courses, in their mind Tokyo and Paris are only basic because Tour is bad to them. Even people who somewhat like the wave 4 cities would want less cities because they’re blinded by nostalgia. Also some people say the Tour courses don’t fit 8 deluxe and aren’t made well, which I disagree with because I race on them just fine. That point they try to make is also just negative bias I hate the fanbase sometimes. Tour lovers are rare gems though
