Wow! This is awesome. I worked at Federal for a couple summers when I was home from college about 30 years ago. My dad (uncle and grandmas too) retired from Federal. The place hasn’t changed much.

I live 20 min away from the Anoka factory. Unfortunately they don't do factory tours with free samples at the end like the Jelly Belly Factory.

Well, I guess I got a batch of bad .22lr . It was ( and I still have 3 boxes 📦 left ) Federal Automatch 40 grain. The lot # is F147U01. If you have these be very careful because, you’ll have failure to feed, failure to eject and stovepiping. This lot of ammo does not have enough gunpowder in them. I ran Remington and CCI next to them and had absolutely NO problems, they ran perfectly fine. Just be careful that you don’t get a squib round. Therefore, shoot them one at a time SLOWLY.

Quality is more important than quantity, the last 8 bricks of federal 22lr I've used have had approximately a 10% failure rate. I'm talking 30-40 out of a 325rd box, absolutely ridiculous. I quit buying it. A 1% failure rate would be excessive enough, stop focusing on high production numbers and making money and focus on improving quality before everyone quits buying it. If it can be proven to me quality has come back up to an acceptable level I'll start getting it again, but at this point the only american ammo I remotely trust is Winchester.

Please increase primer production. There is no rhyme or reason to the shipping schedule at my local retail locations. Quit selling everything to our corrupt government regardless of how much they'll pay. Arm the citizens first.

From what I'm seeing Federal can't keep up with demand, I haven't seen their reloading componets on the shelf but once in two years and that was some large rife primers that I could only buy one brick of........... come on Federal, if your going to publish this video bragging about your heritage and facility you could at least make sure your reloading customers are well taken care of first.......................

I love this company.....BUT - they want to sell that 100 years to a company owned and operated by a Czeck congolmerate. I am doubting their leadership.
