Not sure how much weight they can carry. I typically use 14ga tube to keep things as lightweight as possible but using 11ga tube would hold more for sure. Yes legs can be 2ft high.

Wrong. The spikes, not pegs, nest inside the half inch expanded opening. You must be the singer...

@DC wood fab design Well, if that's the case, then you're limited to only being able to put the bass drum in the center where your one 1/2 channel is. This also means the drum thrown will be near the back edge of the platform. It would be better if the bass drum could be moved in front of the centerline so you're sitting farther forward from the back edge of the riser. I stand by my previous criticism. Also, I would ha e put the lock mechanism on the underside of the rails. I also would have made the legs removable for transportation purposes.

@rhyshenson7318 Wrong again. Haha. I put custom bracing under all risaers based on the set up. Some of the time I make these with removable legs to sit on the stage for opening acts. This particular riser is a headliner so no need to remove legs. AND the drums on my risers stay mounted to the platform and loaded in the trailer pack already set up. Very convenient if you ask me... wait, you didnt ask you're just trying to be right about something at this point...

I appreciate your input. However several drummers tour on my risers and i add, usually off camera, custom bracing for the stool, snare, and maybe a rack. Other than that, never a problem with sagging.
