Summer 2020 found my home state of Colorado on fire and (like everyplace else) dealing with the Covid crisis. I was in need of a taste of adventure. What to do? Head out to see my daughter in the Pacific Northwest, of course, and take a bike tour around the San Juan Islands near her home in Bellingham. Four days of pure bliss! Thank you Kelsey, for this moment of zen. Enjoy!

Roland, what a lovely ❤ video of a beautiful trip with your daughter! So glad I went back and watched. My daughter invited me for a couple of days bike packing the C&O past Harpers Ferry before she got married. I’m sure you treasure this time forever. 😊 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Thank you and Merry Christmas! This was an awesome little trip. Our next series coming out in a few weeks is a ride with both my daughters in Slovenia of all places. I'm a lucky poppa.

We've ridden the San Juans a several times (including to the top of Mt. Constitution) and my heart is still there. Roche Harbor ..... is there any place more wonderful?? The ferries, the seagulls, the scenery ... your daughter is so blessed to live in NW Washington. I'm a newbie to your channel and am enthralled.

Thank you so much. Sadly my daughter had left the Pacific NW for the robust job market in San Francisco. I'd still love to get back there. The San Juans are magical.

Looks like you’re starting at the beginning. I think this was my first attempt at making one of these. They get better! Looking forward to a short trip to Spain with my daughters later this year.
