This album was my soundtrack for my trip to Roanoke VA in March, and this is the last song that still makes me feel like I'm there. I see sweeping views of forested mountains and valleys when I listen to this song, and remember what it was like hiking them. Now I'm back on the Great Plains waiting to eventually get back out there.
2:15 - 2:50. I almost hear a blue whale in the back. I almost cannot take the sheer beauty of this piece. There's no much going on yet it also feels sparse. Haunting and powerful.
This is my favorite part of the track as well. Like everything gets a chance to slow down and you finally can make sense of this organized chaos called “Life”
This song is so beautiful I'm so happy I came across this on Pandora. I feel incredibly inspired and confident listening to this. It paints an amazing picture :)
I heard this song in a food court by some odd chance. It's very very far from what I normally listen to, but I still find myself coming back to this piece. Feels like a stasis I can't get enough of
ODESZA should be every newbies guide to electronic music. Their music will literally take your ears on a journey :) P.S. Good choice on digging electro music! But I must warn you. The emotional path it will take you down is not for the faint-hearted or closed-minded. Enjoy!
What’s that sample?? The vocal that is pitched up then down... it sounds so familiar like it’s in another trance/prog house track.... honey wine, Henry Saiz perhaps?
