i like the little coves with a frog in the summer on top of the lillypads. a lot of smalls. but i haven't fished it in over 15 years.

You need to get a lure retriever from Bass Pro for 16.00 bucks it will save you a ton of money. I won't fish crankbaits without one,

I would not be throwing a deep diver that close to the shore

It's a pretty steep drop off by the dam so the idea was for the lure to follow the drop off down into deep water, hopefully passing by fish at different depths
