Loved the video @AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall! Can't wait for the next video man! For the First and Third Games at the Tournament, I would've just gone with the Story of the Two American Forces being involved in a War Game to Test the Strength and Capabilities of their Respective Forces, The Third Game probably being either out by Fort Irwin in California or over by the Hoover Dam. At least neither of you guys had a Boeing B-29 Superfortress Heavy Bomber like at the End of Fallout 3: New Vegas LMAO! The Table for the Second Game against the Cubans, Jesus God Almighty! Now I now what my Dad went through every time he'd use the Computer back in the 1980's or 1990's when they had Green Text of a Yellow Background or something! Remind me to Grab some Light/Park Green and Deep/Medium Green Blankets for this type of Terrain, Be it a Forest or otherwise. I've also developed Ammunition Limits for Various Units in Team Yankee, although mainly Focused on the Soviet ATGM's for the Tanks and BMP's but I have some Notes for the SAM's as well. I did this as somewhat of a Background for the AI Forces in the Search and Destroy DLC (aka the Weapons DLC) for Stormworks: Build and Rescue with one Community Project called the "North Sawyer Defense Forces" which I've toyed around with the Possibility of Expanding into Various Branches of the Overall AI Military Forces. The North Sawyer Islands Defense Forces get upgraded and Overhauled into being along the Lines of NATO with one Area being the British and Commonwealth Forces, Another being the French and the Dutch and The Last area being the West German Forces. The South Sawyer Islands Defense Forces has more of a Soviet-era Appearance to it while the Island of Donkk (pronounced as Donk, The Second "k" is silent) has more of a Soviet/Warsaw Pact Appearance to it down to even It's Size, and Final the Meier's Islands of the Industrial Frontier Expansion DLC has a Mix of Arabic and Israeli Equipment because of all the Oil and the fact that it's a Desert Area. Long story short, I've planned out an Amphibious Assault that was basically a Cross between Operation Archery and The Normandy Landings, and it's right when the AI Forces are in the Midst of Drawing Down their Size and "Manpower". I had really fun opponents for all 3 of my games (only played one day). However, I was pretty disappointed with the tables, theme (there was really nothing that said we were playing Invasion USA) and mission selection. I was excited to play Airborne Assault round one with my VDV but it turns out that we weren’t playing that mission. Definite bummer as no way you’re going to use airborne assault in a regular mission.
First of All you had some fun 😇 That green table was very green, my god. Just the picture or really that bright? Are those open table normal in the US? A bit to open for my Taste.
If anything the photos do not so the green table justice. it was terrible. I dont go to a lot of tournaments so I don't know the tournament meta for terrain. I will say that at this event the majority of the tables were on the light side when it comes to terrain.
Always good to go to events (mostly) but the tables were mostly very uninspiring, that green table was dire! Pity there was so much blue on blue too, so much for the Soviet invasion of the US 🤔
