Day 1 of the first event of 2023 for the Hobie Bass Open Series brings us to the Harris Chain, I settled on one of the more popular lakes with plenty of eel grass. Day 1 was super windy with gusts up to 20mph, clouds also. This made for a good jackhammer, lipless and jerkbait bite. When the sun came out later in the day I was able to capitalize with a senko on some bedding bass.
