There was a a stop at Habitat '67, but only in one direction. When we were there in late May, the trains didn't stop there. I also remember riding on that minirail that went right through the US Pavilion.
One of the bridges of this rail network still remains today, but is no longer used. There's a simple steel girder bridge that runs across some kind of canal on the other side of another one used by the Saint-Lawrence Seaway. It's rusted nowadays.
I well remember being there, as I and my parents lived in Montreal. And, of thinking that the transportation systems at Expo were somewhat underappreciated. Thanks for putting up this clip that highlighted both the Minirail and the Expo Express.
I was 3 but still remember bits and pieces. I remember following bear-prints that they had placed for kids to follow and a bear statue somewhere. Also the buckyball. And maple-leaf mints at the hotel.
AHHH, those days are long gone. But I do remember when Expo was announced, I was working in the garage trying to get my Mini Cooper going. Expo 67 was a great happening. Truly fun I do hope Quebec finds its way back. Long live Confederation!!!!!
J'avais ete tres impressione par le pavillon de la France qui etait remplis de toute la creativite humaine. A ses cotes, on trouvait le pavillon du Quebec avec un corridor les reliant. Ces deux pavillons ont survecu et sont devenus le palais des civilisations et ensuite le casino.
