This series is truly amazing. This is by far the most extensive and detailed documentary about my home park La Ronde. I cannot believe it didn’t pop in recommended feed earlier. Looking at all this history behind this park, it just goes to show how Six Flags has unfortunately been neglecting the place over the last decade, despite its history. It’s more obvious than ever in recent years, with “un-announced” closure of landmarks such as Pitoune, Spirale, and now Monorail last week. All missed opportunities of farewell goodbye to show some respect of the park’s history, which I’m sure many people from Quebec would have appreciated. Do you have any plan to move forward with the series with a Part IV and beyond, from Expo 67 to today? It would be awesome…

Worth adding that Le Galopant, the merry-go-round installed in 1967 (and built in 1885), has been closed since 2019 and facing an uncertain future. I spoke with La Ronde staff, and they've confirmed there are no plans to reopen it, just maintain it for now as a visual attraction. If it doesn't re-open for the 2023 season, I suspect it'll be sold and moved out of La Ronde at some point. It's historic value is too great to let it languish and deteriorate.

@@more_bumps_ahead - Really looking forward to it! Incidentally, there's some tragic events that happened at La Ronde you may want to mention (the blue collar strike that caused the death of 3 dolphins, the two drowning incidents at the Lake (in 1973 and 1979) and the death caused by Le Vampire rollcoaster in 2012. I added them to the 'History' section of La Ronde over on Wikipedia if you want more details.

@@Apple2gs I feel you will be both surprised and elated with the subject of our next video, and there are a few more tragedies at the park to add to these...

Link Grande Hermine (english) : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grande_Hermine Link parc Cartier-Brébeuf (english - also mentions the boat) : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartier-Br%C3%A9beuf_National_Historic_Site

Toronto was still at that time discriminatory againts Montreal ... it has not changed in 2023 .... still ignorant people of Toronto about Canada and Quebec world class engineering, creativity , open minded to the world and the best city in CAnada .
