again, if you watched the end of the Alabama vs GCU game, the defense of Alabama allowed 0 points in the final 4 minutes and 28 seconds. had the regular offensive game in the round of 64, but allowed 80+ to Charleston. had a bad shooting night against GCU, but adjusted tremendously on defense. Bruce Pearl said it best at the desk, they now have the confidence to play a complete game on both sides of the ball. and they did that yesterday. it was a fast paced NBA like game with defense on both ends of the floor and came down to and-1s and conditional situations. I find neither loss a surprise

I'm actually going to have a perfect final four bracket this year. UConn is a lock, Alabama is in a great spot, Houston will probably shut down Kolek even though he's my favorite player in college basketball, and Tennessee has a really good shot, especially if Gonzaga upsets Purdue, but I do think Purdue will find a way. It would have to be either Houston or Purdue to take down Connecticut. Houston's frontcourt is too small, and I don't know how Purdue would deal with UConn's guard play. I wish Illinois could do it, but Vegas has them as heavy underdogs. Domask and Hawkins would have to hit 3's for Illinois to stick around. Safe to say that everything is pointing toward a UConn vs. Houston/Purdue championship game
