Ladies and Gentlemen, as always, thank you for watching. I have been reluctant to make this request, but I must. Unless you are calling the shop for business purposes, PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SHOP TO SPEAK WITH ME. I understand that people want to speak with me and I am working on ways to make that happen, but it cannot be through the shop phone lines. We have a business to run and the number of phone calls of people asking to speak with me regarding RU-vid have reached a level where they are disruptive to our business. If you want me to continue making videos, I have to be able to do my job. When I'm at work I have to focus on my job. Please don't misunderstand me. I appreciate all my viewers and, as I said, I am working on ways to to involve my viewers and give them an opportunity to speak with me. I want to continue making videos. I plan to do some LIVE videos and I welcome suggestions anyone may have. So, I respectfully ask that you please do not call the shop unless you need our business services. I pray that you will understand and not take offense by this request. Thanks for watching and God bless.

Ron does things automatically. After towing the second car, using the chains on the trunk locking hoop, it got bend out of shape. Which will prevent the trunk from closing. Yet he still tries to close it. You just got to love the way these people do everything automatically, to tow a vehicle safely.

Hey Ron. I've been subscribed to your channel for a while now. I enjoy watching your videos. I grew up around diesels. 2 of my uncles is truck drivers. But what I like most of all is your stance on your faith. We all may not be of the same denomination but as long as we can all agree on the fact that Jesus Christ came to die for our sins and we accept him as Lord and Savior, we have a way to heaven. Keep up fighting the good fight and keep up the good work. God Bless!!

Always amazes me that at some point, both of those cars were bright and shiny and sitting in a dealership showroom, and someone with a smile on their face was driving off putting the first miles on them. . . how far and distant that is!!!!

Yep, I'm living it. My Uncle gave me a 94 BMW since he can't get anybody that knows how to fix it and that someone you speak of dropped 48K for it on the dealer lot. So I also have a 97 park avenue that is so close to the 2nd car here I could have spent a couple days retrieving door handles, instrument cluster and other electricals to wind up with a great spare parts bin for it. Same color even. I had to look in my driveway to be sure it was still there. Unfortunately, nobody stole the car that can't be locked and I need a lock tumbler for it too.

Another great video Ron. I can totally understand what you were saying about different ways of doing pretty much the same thing. When I was driving a tow truck, the one I used was similar to the#15, I was taught a little bit different than what you do. But as you were saying there is no wrong way or better way so long as it done safely. I know I had a really good time driving a tow truck, it's a good way to make a living as well as a good way to meet new people. Thanks for sharing and God bless

After watching with my wife I (think) I noticed that there is not double-arrow above the cab - even one that folds over. I see you have much more storage locations than before, front of the bed tie points (they looked light colored in the video), not too many red / blues on the sides or back of the truck (didn't see the nose yet.) The wife says the new one reminds her of a "big boys erector set" - all the bells and whistles, etc. that you guys like! And of course a bunch of new shiny chains and straps and all those good things you need to do your job. Thanks for sharing and be safe out there!

Interesting video, Ron. From the title of the video, I thought that you might be picking up two vehicles from a farm or Ranch, now I know that I was wrong. From the size of the bullet holes, you can tell that they were using some high powered rifles. I am a little raw tonight, we just had to have our 1984 Ford F-150 towed away today. The pick-up was running fine until two weeks ago, when the module that sits on the of the distributor burned the wiring. ( We just recently put almost three thousand dollars into it, it was our restoration project.) God Bless You and Your Family.

Ron I appreciate the fact you don't do everything the exact same as me when I tow. Sometimes I see stuff you do and " it would have been easier if he did xyz" . Other times I think "I wish I would have thought of that". Many factors go into how a vehicle is loaded as long as the end result is the same then who cares how it is done.

You call it an under reach, in UK, we call it a 'spec'. This is what I used to do when I was a recovery driver. I drove either a spec lift or a beaver tail truck. Spec lift quicker than beaver tail, but bever tail (as well as the roll backs) are more secure and used for longer distance recovery. . I enjoyed this one.

Double bonus footage! Quick tour of an LE gun range and loading footage at the end. First video here that we were just as interested in the towing as where it was being towed from. They must police the brass pretty thoroughly as there was not any on the ground. Took a defensive shooting from a vehicle class given by former LE several years ago so knew a bit what may have gone on.

Easy Peesy, a few sniffles and no sneezy.....nicely done...... And I agree with you Mr. Pratt about the breakaway chains being used 100% of the time, they are no different than the chains on a travel trailer, small trailer or fifth wheel, they maintain control of the vehicle/trailer being towed or pulled in the event of a broken hitch or under reach/wheel lift or any other portion of the vehicle being towed/pulled!

I was going for my B first but the Head instructor got me to change my mind asking me the very question I asked myself when I finally dove in. Cost, since I saved a bunch of money going for the A right away as opposed to paying full for one then the other even if the A was discounted for those already holding a B. For me it cost 3 grand for lessons back in 2003, never regretted it since.

Hey, Ron!! Your video is a good one, and that a "normal" day for you seems pretty quiet. lol Your years of experience, and keeping up with the latest safety gadgets makes you one of my top tow truck drivers to watch. Sometimes I cringe when watching another tow video, as you have set the bar high for integrity, safety, and honesty. I won't judge them for what they do, but you have spoiled me for the highest quality of service ever. I know that the other tow truck drivers do it their way, and as long as they are doing things safely, I won't say a word. You keep it real, no shenanigans, and your humor is getting better, and the titles are getting much better. lol God bless you all and keep it safe. Laterz!! 🚛📸👍🤗💕🐸

Personally, I like the fact that you still use chains on the deck for tie down, that you use four instead of three, or worse, none at all, and that you release the pressure on your winch after you tie down the car. Anyone who has ever seen a cable or winch itself break resulting in the inevitable loss of the car from the deck will know what a dangerous and foolhardy practice that is. Like you stated, there are a lot of ways to get to the number "ten" . I was wondering why you never cross your saftey chains under the wheel lift. I've found that doing so helps with potential "slack" problems on turns. Great video as always and as always, GOD Bless you and yours.

Safety if my #1 Rule and when someone asks why I don't take short cuts or starts telling me how I should do my job I clearly say After 23 years doing it this way with a safe record and clean driving abstract , I'll keep doing it my way and untill they spent thousands of dollars for training and hundreds of hours doing it , they can go pound sand . After all it's my licenses and certifications and my job on the line , not thiers , too many internet cowboys out there think they know better . Good to as see the new rollback in action. And a 2 for 1 deal at that.. Safety first and always. Not just your safety, but for the motoring public around you.. Stay safe out there. Warmer weather is coming (eventually).. God bless......

We are experiencing a bit of freezing rain and ice coating today. 60 schools have called off, but hopefully all will stay safe and warm. Thank you for watching and God bless

Magnetic lights are great....until they decided to come out with aluminum body parts on these newer cars!

The rear door/hatch/whatever on my parent's new Pacifica is plastic. Mom couldn't put her magnetic stickers on it. (They still have a sticker from the college I went to, cough, cough cough years ago - LOL)

Carbon Fiber is fastly becoming a thing as well. I guess he needs to get mounts for it like he uses on his GoPro's :)

I like the Peterbilt better than the Ford, and thank you for posting a video that involves using the wheel lift. More storage space on this one that the Ford. I wonder if a tool locker could be mounted behind the cab for even more space. I had a 97 Malibu aka 'The Green Monster" that was not one of the best cars I have ever driven. Engine needed to be replaced, the gearbox needed new solenoids, the security system was a constant headache, aluminum wheels were peeling and the ABS light was a constant source of irritation. Went to scrap in 2013. The Malibu you were picking up looks to be a baseline version with the four cylinder. Great video as always. Not boring at all. God bless.
