Nice review. This show is really underrated. I just finished it today and loved it.

your review made me see it and just finished the whole series. I loved it, so thanks a lot. Some parts almost had me in tears, for instance during the first character death.

After watching the first 6 episodes, I can say I'm definitely hooked. My only gripe are the capes. Kinda hard to take shit seriously when people are flying around wearing capes.

So many times I cried watching this anime!

Just finished this anime and I have to say (and I watch a lot of anime) it is one of the best I have ever seen.The story I found to be incredible, as well as the way it was told and the time it was set. Overall would give it a 10 out of 10 and suggest people to watch it if they haven't already!

Ah Toward The Terra, I bought both TV & movie versions at the same time knowing very little about both of them except that the movie version was by Toei Animation (and with me being a bit of a Toei fanboy, I had to pick this up). I started with the movie and it was great but then I watched the TV version afterwards and it was excellent from beginning to end and the epilogue was one of the few times a show's ending got me in tears. I still own both DVDs myself and unless Right Stuf/Nozomi gets rights to the Japanese Blu-ray version of the film, I will be keeping that for a long time and as for the series, I'm never getting rid of them. Aniplex can put out a Blu-ray box with subs and I won't care because they will likely be priced the same as their imports (not Gurren Lagann high but pretty damn close) and they'll either have the creator interview extras unsubbed (like with Gurren) or not included at all since they were technically Bandai's extras (since they were not in the Japanese DVDs) plus Aniplex has excluded DVD extras from their BDs before (see the missing seiyuu interviews from Rurouni Kenshin Reflection which was on ADV's DVD).

No , it seems more like Macross . But the plot yes it's a bit Gundam ... overall it's in it's own category . You know what the plot is exactly remining me of : Babylon 5 ! A part of Babylon 5 plot of course

hey bob, my gateway anime was rurouni ken shin and like you, ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS. i wanna read all the manga from ebggining to end and i look fwd to it bcuz u say its even better. the problem is that i have all the vizbig rurouni ken shin EXCEPT vizbig volume 6. its out of stock everywhere i check..do you have any tips? thanks

hey bob just curious I ordered jstars online the other day on play asia and it still hasn't shown up on my bank statement this is my first game im trying to import I was wondering if you knew if it takes a couple days to hit your account I really don't want to make the mistake of importing this game twice your advice would be greatly appreciated

You should watch Psycho Pass it starts off Episodic than the plots fuse into 1. Also Fate/Zero its way better than Fate/Stay Night much more mature too. It starts slow until around Ep 4 when the fighting begins than Ep 5 when the writers just go crazy insane and let all the Servants out of their cages.
