The first time I stood viewing the bridge from Tower Wharf, I was amazed... at her size, at her workmanship, and at her beauty. I'm still amazed each time, even now with viewing via this video. Stunning.

A very interesting video, as you say in your commentary the bridge looks older than its true age. A true British Icon.

That was excellent. I didnt realise that you could walk through the bridge like that and Im sure Im not the only person who thought that was London bridge not towerbridge. Its much newer than I thought as well. Thanks for taking us on this tour. Cheers Cheryl 🙂

Amazing! The Tower Bridge is a very beautiful & is such an impressive bridge! Along with having such a fascinating & interesting history of its building & inception. The walkway is also amazing, especially the glass floor! Although it looks quite scary when you look down!! Yikes! Then again, I am scared of heights! Ooooh! Scary! However, the views from the Bridge, both, of the River Thames & of the City of London are just breathtaking! Indeed! Thank you for sharing another wonderful experience!

Very interesting history, despite it not being as 'ancient' as we might think. The late 19th Century was full of engineers and builders, racing to make the tallest, longest, best bridge/tunnel/dam/locks/sky-scraping buildings. Though later (1914), the engineering project that benefited California the most (since the Transcontinental Railroad, completed 1869/1870) was the Panama Canal. And all of it done without computers. Tossing up red hot bolts? I can't even imagine. Many years ago, my (new at the time) husband and I walked down to the bridge from the Tower of London. It was amazing to experience it in 'real life' after seeing it for years on my Granddad's tea tins. :)

Hi Simon and Will. Tower Bridge really is a beautifully intricate London landmark. I ❤it’s blue colour. It really makes the whole structure stand out. Fascinating on the inside as well as having an equally fascinating history. Will is definitely a man of mystery, the back of him popping up in the odd video. Hope he’s not making you do all the work Simon. LOL ❤🇨🇦🇬🇧 The both of you take care til next time. EDIT: Those glass floors are freaky. They mess with your brain.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there private apartments in the upper levels of both towers and if so, who occupies them?

Hi there are no apartments in Tower Bridge, the towers were just used as offices and the stairs to get to the walkways back in the day.
