If the Tx is the issue, look at the Radiomaster Boxer. I love mine and it will easily work with this plane. I use it with my E-flite Cherokee 1.3m and it is fantastic. Will soon be using it with the T-28 Trojan 1.2m with retracts. The Boxer has 16 channels and is well under $200. A bit of programming but there is so much help out there for EdgeTx that it will be easy to setup a plane.

@@robertbraun7155 You don't have to buy a brand-name transmitter that all the pros are using. You can buy a cheap Flysky Transmitter or Radiolink and they will work perfectly fine. Matter of fact they have a better range than most of the main brand radios like Spektrum. I was flying with a 35-dollar Hobby King 6-channel radio for 5 years before I bought my Futaba. All the modern 2.4ghz radios work great, even the cheap ones. The Flysky FS-i6 ^-channel radio for 47 dollars works like a charm. 1000s of people use it with no issues. Taranis X9 Lite is another mid-range radio you can go wrong with. Radio Master TX12 is another great radio for under 100 dollars. The RadioMaster Boxer is another budget-friendly radio that Flite Test swear by and they use it in some of their videos.

yes, and we always want to share these details. The RV7 is CRAZY, and the Cirrus SR22T is a better GA plane, if you ask me...BUT this one is smaller and cheaper, AND a different subject matter. ;)

Yes, but the Cherokee 1.3m is a fantastic plane. Just flew mine tonight for the first time in a while as I've been away. Absolutely great plane.

@@jayaustin3096 drugs are part of the problem but almost everyone everywhere is on a drug of some kind. It's about $$$ not drugs. I see totally clean mothers and children without shelter now. I know this is an RC channel but here we are. Brian and Megan are compassionate people. I am from rural Illinois. I kinda get the vibe. When I watch their videos I miss my hometown.

I have the PPG gear, but haven't had time to get back up. I want and need to get out and kite some to keep the muscle memory working. It's just been one thing after another....which isn't BAD, it's just hard to make time for PPG. You?

I'd also like to know how the fit/finish and flight characteristics compare to the E-flite Cherokee 1.3m, esp. as the 400 is 60% of the Cherokee. Of course, the Cherokee has a 70amp ESC, reverse thrust, and great fit/finish.
