The seam on my Tower Brand inflatable paddle board burst 1 month after my warranty ended. Isn't that the way it always goes. I sent pictures to Tower and they told me it was not repairable but they would give me a discount on a new board. But for the amount of money I spent on the board I would try and repair it myself. I am happy to say it was a success. May not be pretty but it is air tight.

Black looks nice but it’s not a good color in the sun, you need to be extra careful with dark colors. Good to hear the repair is holding up for you. In our experience, even if the repair holds, the chance of seam failure elsewhere is high, unfortunately.

Yeah, that is probably true. I'll just keep riding until it goes again and then it will be time to get something new. But, hanging in there for now. Take Care

How has it held up over time? I had the same thing happen recently to my Tower paddle board and plan on giving the repair a shot. Thanks for the video!

So far so good. Not as pretty as it once was because I used a lot of cement. But saved me from having to buy a new one. Also when I store it long term I try to keep the repaired portion of seem fairly flat.

Hi! is your SUP material PVC, right? How did you decided to go with the HH-66 Vinyl Cement? I am planning to fix my inflatable Sea Eagle kayak (that has a 8-inches seam opening) with the PVC Weaver Adhesive 3001 Kit . My kayak only requires 3.2 psi instead of 15 psi so I hope the adhesive can hold the pressure. Any recommendations or ideas?

I'm not familiar with the PVC Weaver adhesive but with the low PSI sounds like it should be ok. I chose the HH-66 because I had already used it when I added some D-Rings to mine and my wife's board and it worked really well. Also, I watched some other youtube videos of people repairing their boards and that's what they used. It's been a long time since the repair and it's still holding strong. Good luck with your repair
