Remember back in the early days of the manhwa when we weren't even sure 'he' was a he?

Hansung Yu is the only person who can be best boy and best girl at the same time

Tog scene rewind time: Do you guys remember that one time in the data world, data Hansung saved Bam and Endorsi and all he got was disgust? Lmao I was laughing so hard at that time. He was trying to be so nice and hospitable but everyone else who knew him before was like, “[insert disgusted face]” 😂 And that one time he told Bam that they worked well together... ripp. He did but didn’t deserve that at the same time

Hansung: *Being a total evil in S1, threatening Bam with literally EVERY POSSIBLE WAY, makes Bam hate him the most* also Hansung: *tries to save Bam multiple times even by risking HIS OWN LIFE, being his softest teacher* I love Hansung. that's why.

Right on about his "evil charm". Despite the more twisted things he's done I can't help but love him. One of the best characters in my opinion

Maybe that why bloodmadder didn’t become immortal like the others. Maybe the story we know is the cover so it doesn’t look like a family head opposed Jahad ever.

Agusgus talking to "Deep Sea Fish" was an excellent tie up to season 1 which confirmed Hansung Yu's connection with FUG, subtly.

Everything we know so far doesn't explain how in the hidden floor he KNEW that Bam and a Jahad princess were going to arrive one day. And he actually know that if they ever come they will be quarantined! Even his connection to a family head does not explain this !

Oh dear, about the part where Hansung Yu learned about V from Bloodmadder: Hansung Yu most likely doesnt have a positive relationship with Bloodmadder and i doubt anyone does based on his character description. When Hansung meets Evankhell he spoke about what seemed like an inspirational comment for him where "someone" told about being more afraid of their flame fading than actually dying, which is pretty much the opposite of Bloodmadder. Uppon seeing Akryung (Ghost) with Rachel he said "what a fitting name". Akryung could use spells, had a demon inside him just like Baam, could use shinwonryu and even tho still a regular he knew about Zahard's strength. Also the way that Hansung Yu referred to V when Baam opened the sealed door with the black hole sphere was as if he directly knew him and heard it all from him, not from someone else. That same "someone" who made the comment about being more afraid of dying than their flame fading, and who told Hansung Yu about the prophecy and about V is actually V himself, V dying and getting resurrected fits like a glove the whole not being afraid to die and also everything mentioned prior and also justifies how Akryung could use shinwonryu and also knew Zahad. Hansung Yu also showed signs of actually knowing Akryung personally even before he used his current name so everything clicks. Now about how he is exactly alive right now, we have had souls being transferred into other bodies in ToG anyways with the soul stirring ladle so its not a new concept overall for V's soul to be transferred into Akryung's body. This has also happened with living ignition weapon Emily and most possibly its how Macseth creates his artificial "sons". In the first draft of ToG, where it was black and white, and Akryung was drawn a bit different, like a huge knight with horns, Headon told him that he had to fight Arkyung because Akryung was a "murderer of the same species". SIU admitted he took out some things from the first draft of ToG (like Baam being born the night that the tower cried) because they were spoilers. Just the fact that he used shinwonryu, there arent that many irregulars that have entered the tower to begin with. Most people think because of Hansung Yu's connection with Bloodmadder and Luslec, that Bloodmadder is also an ally of FUG. Its the opposite, Hansung Yu wanted to change the tower and overthrow the family heads with a passion and Bloodmadder is one of the worst of them. In the hidden floor Sacchi said he cant believe Hansung Yu arranged all of this so Baam gets something and Hockney made a comment about Hansung Yu where he said perhaps the painting he drew was connected to him. So most likely the final thorn fragment will be in Bloodmadder's floor, which means kiss him goodbye because he might be the first one dying to Baam from the family heads so most likely Hansung Yu is also trying to personally use Baam to get revenge from Bloodmadder.

I did not hate him in season 1 even when the first time I read the manhwa. Rachel easily eclipsed him by far in the antagonist category.

As someone who's only on the hidden room hell train arc, I have a question. Whatever happened with those rings hansung gave the regulars after leaving the 2nd floor? Far as I remember they haven't shown back up yet and I never noticed any characters wearing them

Hansung Yu is one of my favs too. I think Headon and Hansung were working cahoots in dealing with Bam. Headon knew that Bam was the one he had been waiting for and Hansung wanted to test him to see if was going to be suitable. **Spoiler** I think they had a better relationship after they met again, trying to save Bam's master, Ha Jinsung.
