I believe that Bam and Rachel were raised in the outer tower on one of the floors. If you remember when Lero explained the inner tower was where the story takes place middle area is like staircase to upper, lower floors and the outer tower, the outer tower is where white minapiate the two kingdoms into waging war against each other and where everyone that Headon did not chose are.
Random thought, but like I really want to see where jahad, the family heads, and urek came from on the outside lol their parents must be monsters themselves who knows🤌
Or maybe They're just rank B outside the tower, Look at Hunter X Hunter, Meruem is the strongest in human world, but pales in comparison in Dark continent.
@@alnahianabid8418 Yeah it's just too long, almost 90% of people don't want to devote their whole lives to one chapter of your life, unless you're Eiichiro Oda
I think that the outside is really interesting and it not talked about enough. I would read a whole other story about the outside of the tower, that would be really interesting, even with the few things we know. Day 13: Please do a Hwaryun video
I think the reason all the irregulars “seem” to be ridiculously powerful is because they are immune to the rules of the tower. There is literally no limit to their power
A funny thing to add to the Isekai part, this season had an Isekai where the protagonist parents come from the other world and the MC has to go to their world (Tsukimichi - moonlit fantasy). The main difference is that MC lives in our world, and we're not sure if the outside of the tower is our world (i'd say probably not unless it's like the far future?)
The outside world seems to be so big cuz the tower is more long than a planet. Maybe it's a gigantic planet like Jupiter, or the tower is shrinking somehow so it fits the Earth.
i've seen someone calculate the size of a single floor and they came up with... 1 floor = size of south america or something like that.. basically 1 floor = 1 continent by size...
@@krulxtepes988 It was the outter tower part of one floor is the size of the North American continent. Inner tower and middle area are not included in this equation, it might be different on each floor for all we know and there is no guatantee even SIU knows or even needs to set anything. Also who said the tower has to fit the spatial settings of the planet it's on? Maybe it's like a tardis. And there is no guatantee the tower is an actual tower by the way with floors stacked on top of others. Author said the floors are not necessarily piled up (in response to someone who asked why wouldn't Urek just drill his way out).
The tower is so big though so it's probably compressed or something. Like in one of SIU's comics "Give my Earth back", an axis compressed Earth to the size of a marble.
I always wanted to point out that Bam is the child of 2 Irregulars + Himself an Irregular + Blessed by the Outside God + Child of the prophecy + Devourer of The Tower. Even one of these would make someone broken af. And here's Bam with all of them.🐸 I can see some people being a little overwhelmed.
By that logic Bam will become a more powerful irregular than the 13 Adventurers and Urek who were just very talented genius humans. At Enryu level at least and maybe Axis level someday ? I think yes
@@karaka2253 Yeah. At this point, it's really safe to assume that Bam will become a God like figure in the Tower that surpasses everyone. He has so many things going for him obviously.
I wonder if there might be an arc going outside of the tower at one point, where they can expand the world of TOG Also day 22 of asking Joe to please make a video on who the Boss or the Captain could be
SPOILERS from TUS be careful ! Some people say that the Outside God is an Axis named "Oedipus the artificial creator". I think it makes sense cuz Enryu was able to create life with Shinsu so this axis who commend him could create life with nothing so resurrect people doesn't seem to be hard for him/her.
Oedipus!? Wait , Wasn't Oedipus a Greek hero/king? So basically the story is that Oedipus's biological father laius raped chrysippus (son of King pelops) , so Laius ended up receiving a curse and a prophecy was said and according to that phrophecy one of his sons would kill him and claim his throne and marry his wife. For so many years , laius kept killing all his children ruthlessly just after they were born because of the fear of the "Prophecy" coming true , he wanted to avoid his fate of him dying by the hands of one of his sons and then that son of his ending up marrying his own wife and conquering his throne but one of his sons ended up successfully living and his name was "Oedipus" , "Oedipus" was brought up by the king and queen of some other kingdom , Oedipus grew up unknown about the fact that the kingdom he grew up in and the parents who raised him weren't his "biological parents" , "Oedipus" then got informed by the Oracle that it's his "DESTINY" to slay his father's throat and marrying his mother , He got afraid and left his kingdom after knowing that because he didn't wanted the prophecy to come true , he wanted to run away from that "cruel fate" , that "Cruel destiny" trying to bind him , "Oedipus" ended up coming to Thebes and slaying his own father and ended up marrying his own biological mother without even knowing it , After that Oedipus finally found the truth that he killed his biological father and ended up marrying his own mother , he was devastated , but even more devastated was his mother "Jocasta" whom he had married , Jocasta couldn't bear the pain of knowing that she married her own son , she was feeling extremely horrible and filthy , So she ended up commiting suicide by hanging herself. Oedipus was even more devastated after that and took two pins from Jocasta's dress and stabbed himself in both his eyes with it as a display of his guilt and sadness. That's how this story comes to an end. Although Oedipus did continue to rule Thebes until he died , but he lost both of his eyes and was very sad and devastated about whatever happened but he ruled the kingdom nicely until he died.
I need the tower of god shared universe to be a thing. Imagine multiple authors and artist all working on separate stories within this world. It would be like the Marvel or DC of manhwa!!
What if at the top, top of the tower, beyond the floors that Jahad’s locked, you can choose if you wanted to go to the outside and reclimb the tower (after having your memory wiped). And that’s why all irregulars, once they reach the tower, are all so powerful. It’s like those idle games where you can restart and gain an extra buff. Idk I’m just rambling off my head
or maybe there are more towers and they can go to a "higher ranked" one after getting their memory wiped or they have a choice between this and remaining in the tower to have some privilege?
I can't wait for your video on the Talse Uzer story. I think the workshop is like unifying organization/society in the whole Talse/ToG stories, in the TuS in general I think all stories in that universe will have the workshop
Rachel has her own power, can somehow draw people towards her, similar to Baam. But for Baam its more because his nice personality but Rachel has to play the "feel bad for me" card.
i think the outside world will eventually be seen in story. please make a Talse Uzer story video. i know very little about it. thanks for the passion you put into the video. keep it up. wish you well.
I remember a theory I think it was Dr.bonehead himself that mention it and I thought it was very interesting how he mention it is so curious that all the people that comes from the outside are so powerful and all and how they have these super strong connection with shinsu and then the theory I refer to said that what if the tower was built in the depths of a world drowned in shinsu so the outside world is completely sunk in shinsu therefore making the people that comes from there very suitable to shinsu pressures and all.
@@Yoreinowashinoka14 shinsoo would become so diluted in the general atmosphere as to become useless. It would just be another element of the atmosphere, like Argon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, etc.
Given how structured the tower is around rules, and the fact that Irregulars are not bound by the rules, I wonder if that freedom is what amplifies Irregulars to the state of 'monsters'. An analogy could be playing chess. If my opponent is not bound by the rules of chess, I am likely going to lose, provided they understand the object of the game. They could make an illegal move in the first turn and take my king because they are not bound by the laws of the game. That being said, that requires them to know the nature of the game. Baam initially knew nothing, but the moment he learns how to make a bang, he has a power jump (and imagine what that power jump would have been if he had not made the contract with the administrator). It is also worthwhile to say that not all laws are probably not equally easy to break.
i always thought about the outside world, like what kind of beings are there and they must know of the tower(s) and probably also how they are created too, so much mystery and incredible world building, insane.
Nobody will probably read this, but I think the irregulars are so powerful only because they don't have to obey the rules of the tower. I do not remember who said that, but it seems the contract with admin is less a power boost and more a restriction. So the irregulars are not overpowered personally, more like the tower residents are all restricted.
Tower of God is a fascinating story and the Outside of the Tower is a proof how this series is compelling to readers. So yes, everyone needs to know about that.
Jahads family isn’t allowed to use spells, he forbids it. Hwayrun tell us that in order to use spells you need to have a divine being or a god to grant you the power or as a source. And also that spell of a higher degree then another can cancel it out. What if jahad blood has a spell on it Nd he doesn’t use other spells because it could mess with bis
I have a theory about the outside. I think the current family heads were part of great families outisde of the tower but they were sort of low-ranking losers in their respective families. They went to the tower and chose to stay and replicate the family model they had from the outside as a reference but this time placing themselves at the top of the hiearchy. The reason they dont want to keep climbing is cause theyll have to return to being mediocre outside if they do.
So a couple things about isekai. 1st-More than one person can be isekaid into the same world. 2-The world someone is isekaid to can exist in the same universe as the world the person came from.
I doubt, I think its subjective, although he is not completely wrong, his acts are sometimes quite cruel, ex. snapping Baam's neck, without even hearing him out.
I think that the Tower in an interdimensional nexus within a some sort of artificial reality simulator within a closed space that is used as a testing ground for producing or cultivating "Gods". And irregulars are so Powerful because they are errors within in the system and not subject to limitations inherently placed on the natural born residents, like how irregulars don't need to make contracts with administrators to use Shinsoo. And The Outside Gods are Humans that are more or less using some High Dimensional interface to " Edit " the world as they see fit. Uryuu Working for a God might just be an Avatar and The Axis Like Phantominum might be Systems put into place to ensure certain things happen the way they want them to, which is why is appearance, history, motives, actions, and subsequent disappearance of these characters might "seem" unfathomable to others. The Ultimate goal seems to be to reach the Top of The Tower for some unknown reason and seemingly offers exponential growth to anyone at random, but Jahad stopped his descent and Actively prevented the others from pursuing it, but perhaps the irregulars and the Axis are both Wild Variables and assurance to make sure that the goal of reaching the top is achieved. It's even stated that this is part of The prophecy. Rachel said there is a sky with infinite stars at the top which sounds like a metaphor for Godhood or ascension.
I thought that outside the tower lived the people who have already climbed a long long time ago and have had their wish granted. And maybe that is what the outside god was someone who passed through the tower before and became so strong they resembled a god. And maybe the outside world is filled with these strong individuals who have all been through the tower and that the only way to face them is to go through the tower and gain strength.
Is it confirmed that irregulars are strong to begin with? I thought they were just strong because the rules of the tower didn't apply to them, would they be as strong outside where there is no shinsu?
I think it was mentioned in some chapter that Spells are indeed from outside the tower. Maybe with the Question mark spell, but I do believe it was mentioned. Which is why I think that spells do affect other Irregulars like Urek and Enryu, and all the 13 leaders, which would make sense of why Arlene was so powerful against the other leaders. And that’s why Bams resistance to spells should be even more special than any other Irregular activity, cause even Irregulars are affected by them
I think the reason that all the irregulars (excluding Rachel) are so strong is because the outside doesn't have Shinsu meaning their body doesn't require it to breathe the same way the people in the tower do. Think of it like climbing Mount Everest as you get higher the air gets thinner so pretend mount Everest is the outside world and anywhere not above 29,035 feet sea level is the tower. Meaning these people who learned to breathe with no Shinsu are super-enhanced with it because unlike all the others it isn't a requirement for them only an aid.
I'll explain here so you guys are better immersed. T.U.S. verse, short for Talse Uzer Story, or Tailse User Story, is the Universe in which many stories SIU has drawn out takes place, TUS ultimately is just 1 ginormous string of stories. This universe is based on the premise that 'this world is centered around those many stories, and they remain as unchanging records.' In the TUS worldview, a story that has been written once cannot be undone, and therefore the past of the world is limited, and the possibility of things happening in the future is also limited. The 'Tailse User' mentioned in the title has an ambiguous meaning. It is the name of the main character of the work TUS, and also refers to the existence of axis. Axis is a god-like being in the TUS universe, and is said to have the power to leave stories as unchanging history. TUS is about the boy named Tailse User, or Talse Uzer, and takes place 500 years after the death of a very powerful Axiser that they call "Conqueror King/King of Conquest". TUS, in addition, Tower of God, Carnival, :COMIC:, and Give Me Back My Earth are also included in this universe. "the past cannot be re-written; the history cannot be changed/altered, the future is therefore uniform and pre-determined", that is the natural, elementary, governing universal law even the Axisers abide to. Axis is a power of divine properties. It is said that an "Axiser" (Axis user) is a being with the power to leave immutable records or a power that determines history, and refers to people who have abilities close to the power of God and those who use such power. It is known that Axis users are not born innate but are born through awakening. However, it is said that during the awakening/realization process, they may not be able to handle the power of Axis and may go berserk or die. Each Axiser uses their power in a unique way, and there are different types such as striker and observer. It is similar to the positions in Tower of God. For example, an Axis user who controls phantom beasts has appeared in one of the drafted comics. An Axiser has the ability to create its own space around itself and then exert absolute power & control within its domain. the power to construct, edit, delete reality as an unchanging history. However it does not make them invincible. It's a natural law that any non-Axis beings cannot interfere with an Axis, no matter how busted OP you are it's impossible (do me a favor, try reaching your hand out and try to stop time from flowing, yeah.. that's how you'll be when facing an Axiser) The only way the Axis-written story is altered (their Axis power negated) is through the stories of a higher powered Axis. Meaning an Axiser may lose to a stronger Axiser. Even within Axis users there exists a hierarchy of power. In other words, no matter how many ordinary or gifted non-Axis people there are, they cannot defeat a single Axiser, and no matter how many low-ranking Axisers there are, they cannot defeat a single high-ranking Axis. In other words, even if king-level top Axiser invade not only the dimension they live in but also other dimensions and cause trouble, there is no one to stop them other than an Axis of equal or greater power. the most powerful Axiser has a range of effect that spans across galaxies and through dimensions. and the other top Axisers have comparable feats. It is said that people without this power, that is, non-Axis users, may be able to interfere with Axisers, but they can never interfere with Axis-made events of Axisers (aka their Axis powers), and this unique domain continues to expand over time in range and size. Among these, the Axis users with the most powerful Axis appear to be called 'Kings' King of Conquest King of Salvation Oedipus, the King of 'Man' (or 'Man-made') They are the Axis Kings and the 3 most powerful Axisers in history; There was space (the universe), but then there was 3 individuals, of whom awakened a power so so great, that one of the 3 proclaimed himself as King of Conquest, and has been on a quest to conquer the entire universe. King of Salvation has been at war with the King of Conquest, while Oedipus has been spending eons, searching for a way to "create a new God" with his Axis, which would replace their nonexistent God. On Oedipus... he has said that "I have tried to ask God how he wants us to use this great power, and what my purpose is here, but he was already long gone." some food for thought. also, a "Duke" approaches Oedipus and tells him that he knows "a way" to create a new God, and it peaks Oedipus' interest, and little do you know, the Duke is the property owner of all 30 rose stems that both he and the King erected. We Korean fans speculate with certainly that the King and Duke's plan is to use the tower to breed a new God. to fill the void left by the original God with that being said, Oedipus with the aid of the Duke, erected 30 rose stems to awaken and breed "God". The first group of specimen that went in one of the 30 towers, which were to be monitored for awakening, instead decided to rebel against the idea of the "outer god" (we know this outer god they refer to is non other than Oedipus, King of Man one of the 2 most powerful Axis); Zahard might've seen the truth of the tower with his powerful precognition and ability to see and manipulate fate, the subject ultimately sealed the path which would lead them to greater ascension, they pretty much rendered the purpose of the tower null at that point. So the axis king uses one of the subjects (Bam & his mom) that happened to escape, as an opportunity to write a new adjusted story; deal with the error in the tower which are the subjects inside that were trying to play god instead of climbing to the top and exiting & being of use to the Axis King. Zahard has changed the future by doing this (remember I said law is that future is predetermined/limited, but Zahard rebelled and derailed), and he will pay for the consequences by playing out the adjusted story written by the Axis King, we got a glimpse of what that was when Enryu delivered the message & when Bam came into the picture. To Zahards demise, he probably is aware of some of this knowledge. He probably can see his impending doom. It's a fact that although Phantaminum is a powerful Axiser, but he is not as powerful as the Kings, as such there are 2 theories on him 1. he is merely being used as a character in the Axis Kings adjusted story, a pawn to set up Bam's plot. 2. he is not a part of the Axis King's story, he just wanted to mess with the tower for a reason of his own, however was unable to interact with key characters of the Axis King's story because it has been written by the Axis King (therefore leaving Zahard and Yuri protected from Phantaminum's massacre) have a good read boys (source: I'm Korean and a fanatic of TUS, and I gather TUS info as a hobby, all from SIU's blog, old SNS, and drafts)
I'm not sure every "outsiders" are as buste as irregulars, i'd view it more as only impossibly powerful outsiders may break the lock by themselves and enter the Tower.
Wait! If Bam was born within the tower, can you really call him an irregular tho. By the logic that Rachel doesn’t count, Bam shouldn’t count either. Or does it have something to do with him being killed and resurrected outside the tower…?
I think that there is not a reason to think that all irregulars are insanely monster because they are from the outside... I mainly think that the real reason is that because they are from outside of the tower, the rules don't affect them. Sorry if my English isn't good enough, I'm not a native speaker hahahah
"Isekai is a japanese subgenre of fantasy in which a character is suddenly transported from their world into a new or unfamiliar one." Bam was suddenly transported from their world into an unfamiliar one, it's an isekai. Doesnt matter if he was chosen by unknown means or if the tower is a pre-established system, nor does it matter that the world he came from is apart of the universe. You seem like you're purposely trying to not make it an isekai idk why, there's nothing wrong with it being an isekai. It's obviously very different from the standard isekai-type anime we know, but you just can't argue that it is not an isekai, it just fits the subgenre perfectly.
dude i think you miss understand what isekai is, but this series isn't one(currently) it seems to all be just 1 world, it just the tower is a special area in that world
I think the entrance to the tower is in some place that is really hard to find and is really dangerous like at the bottom of the ocean or in a volcano which is why only really strong people can get in
You could do another Tower of god Reddit video. You could even look at r/towerofmemes and then sort by top all time and you’ll probably have a good laugh Idk just maybe consider adding it to your list please if you can’t think of content Edit: and oh yeah this video was great
Btw from moment i seen SIU Conqueror's King and we got knwledge of around 30 towers exist in TUS world/universe, i have feeling that those towers are made to be some kind test for future Exis user they enter as normal person (well irregular) when they reach top they some kind ascend/evolve to exis users
Going to take a dive off the deep end. WHAT IF ..... this is is where Jahad & the other family heads entered the tower! The biggest mystery is why & how rachel was able to find bam & go in an out of the cave while bam was restricted from doing so.
technically if rachel could have been from inside the tower then Bam is from definitely from inside the tower since we know he was born on the floor of Death. He's not an irregular.
Mad thought but..... What happens if bam was brought back with his mother immortality as a trade. Also another fun thought for me is that the tower was made by one axis and then another one rules over the outside world and lastly I think the one that made the tower was also the one too travel through the tower, the outside one being the axis that brought bam back and made a deal with his mother, just another fun thought
"Isekai is a subgenre of fantasy in which a character is suddenly transported from their world into a new or unfamiliar one. " I'd say ToG falls under this description as Bam was transported into the tower suddenly, willingly but none the less suddenly, from his cave chasing after Rachel. The tower is an humongous isolated space that is nigh impossible to enter or leave outside of some cosmically rare instances. I'd say that classifies it as its own world separate from the outside world. Bam is an irregular and irregulars have insane amount of talent that puts them above literally everyone else given enough time. That makes them special. Also there is nothing to say that the person being Isekaid can't be originally from the place they're being isekaid to. To sum up my thoughts Bam is an irregular which is an existence from a place that is effectively separate from the world the term is used in. Irregulars have potentially above any other being in said world making them special. If Alice in wonderland is classified as an Isekai then so is tower of god smh
It's not an Isekai, it's not when you're transported to a different world, but different dimension/universe entirely. ToG lore is all the same universe. Alice in wonderland is a isekai because wonderland is clearly not in the same universe. Also Everyone outside and inside the tower knows about it and has some ideas of what the tower entails. The universe Bam is in is all unanimous with the tower.
@@SmallLegacy Isekai literally means "another world" Better example: Peter pan is also considered an Isekai and I don't think that takes place in another universe/dimension. Also there are plenty of examples of Isekai where people know about the other side at least in one world example: that time I was reincarnated as a slime. Finally I don't think the knowledge about the outside of the tower is all that prolific in fact the reason why most of the folks know about it is because of irregulars existing. Also you can't exactly say that the people outside all know about the tower since we hardly know anything at all about the outside unless I've missed something massive lore vise.
I think memebers of royal families entered tower like 13 worriers who were royal blood to live longer save their bloodline Outside no shinsue and long life 1000+ Tower = immortal
10:21 first argument is wrong bro, there are A LOT isekais with side characters coming to the other world before the mc. the second one is argumentative, because the tower is a world itself with ppl, religions, world principles, fauna and flora, so it does make sense come ppl call it an isekai as well
@@ichiwo1526 maybe because many people doesn't like isekai because of it's reputation and stereotypes and he don't want people to think TOG would be something like that?
@@ichiwo1526 correct me if i’m wrong but i think the towers in magi have walls, which means it’s a limited space, not only that, it doesn’t have civilizations or cultures in it. Idk what would happen but i assume that if we go to the south, west, east or north, we wouldn’t find a limit (a wall in a sense)
I’m pretty sure the outside world is just our world. The irregulars sound like protagonists from an isekai and they were transported to the tower to escape and return to our world.
That guy actually made a whole awesome playlist about tower of god and mentions very interesting theory about Baam's cave, spells and irregulars: www.youtube.com/@WatWoWen
Irregulars could just be stronger because of statistics. It stands to reason that there are many, many more people living outside the tower than inside, and if the tower attracts the strongest of those you end up with the best from a much larger pool of people. I would assume that only the strongest are deemed "worthy to climb the tower" (by some means other than Headon's test). The original climbers were all irregulars so we know that the outside world is capable of producing incredibly powerful fighters. Keep in mind that irregulars also had to gain power without the use of shinsu. After entering the tower and gaining a strong affinity for shinsu their power must multiply. Kind of like living on a planet with high gravity, and then moving to a planet with low gravity.
They strong but not every1 . First choosen ones to enter tower are regulars which abide to tower laws , while those who entered themselfs are irregulars and laws of tower doesn;t apply to them . Next outside world there huge number of Exis users (ascended ppl which powers are equal God!) Phantaminum one of them , there also Jin or Medicto Exis apprentices
So I'm a little confused about this point. As I was not sure if an irregular is someone who opens the gate of the tower by themselves, meaning the tower as a whole? And then Headon opens the door of the inner tower for the Regulars? I kinda got the impression that Urek was born in the tower, because in the translated speech of s02e32 he uses the expression "imagine/thinking of", which is different from stating he has "seen/been" in the outside worldwhich I think he hasn't done. I'm fairly new btw so I can be totally wrong.
Just to clarify what I meant. I somehow got the idea that Bam and Rachel are the only ones confirmed to have come from outside the tower. And that Irregulars can also enter from the outer section o$ the tower sans Headon. Otherwise I think "the outside world" would be a broader known concept tied to irregulars in general. But it doesn't seem to be the case. They are only associated to have beast level power and the ability to open the gates of the (inner) tower sans Headon. But to 99% of the rest of characters there is no conception or realization of a world out of the three sections of the tower. Also killer content! Binging videos too! Edit:Shower thought for the Urek Mazino thing I mentioned. Seen as Mazino seems to be the type of person to thrill on novelty and excitement, it would make sense that this inimaginable world declared to be infinitely greater than the tower, has his attention. Otherwise he would say something along the lines of going back.
If I am to give my own opinion I don't think anyone outside is special or something I just feel those who can enter the tower are not bounded by the tower rules so become so strong It is just like your normal isekai where the protagonist comes to a new world and becomes super overly powdered
My theory on the Tower and the outside is I think wrong but it makes some sens, I would need to go through the story to list all the hints that make me think that, but it is that the Tower is basically heaven, I mean the after life world, where people from the real world get reincarnated without any memory, and that irregular are actually alive people who enter this tower without dying and with their memory, and that climbing the tower like that is like reachin to god himself or becoming an angel (like enryu), for example on the hidden floor, the scale look at their "past" and say that Bam doesnt have one which make no sense because he does so that past could be their previous life
What if it’s like the Novel Gate of revelation The tower is a simulation and there are those outside of the simulation that go in to have adventures and play “games”. All those in the tower are NPCs while those outside the tower come in with their own set of rules.
Maybe the Jahad simbol is, in fact, the outside God simbol and Jahad just took it becase he thinks he is a god, or porwerfull enough to beat one. Maybe not because he can't beat an administrator, but who knows what he thinks about himself
