6:31 Poison doesn't stack, and reapplication only resets the DoT timer. To get the most value out of ooze bombs, wait until the effect is over, then throw another. Repeat until you don't see anything taking dmg.
When glitchy said he has his pierce protection on, all I heard was “ I HAVE THE POWER”. Dude, glitchy went all out with the noises today. It was fabulous lol. It took me a good 10 deaths to beat that tower. Worth it though .
I wonder if Zil & Thungr are inspired by Master Blaster from Mad Max. I think the Growth outside quite worked to your advantage, since Zil & Thungr were a lot of the time aggroed on them. So luring some Growth to the base of the tower might be a pretty reliable strategy to make the fight easier, if you can figure out a way to reliably get past them. Maybe some stairs leading to the tower from farther away. Or boxing the growth in, using a hoe or pickaxe. If the tower is not too far from a black forest, Greydwarves would work too and are easier to handle. Fire resist is not only quite useful for the Zil & Thungr fight, as you noted yourself. It also completely overrides the fire weakness from the Root Armor, replacing it with fire resistance. So you can have pierce resistance and fire resistance at the same time. Although personally I seldom use the root armor, because the pierce resistance does not stack with that from bonemass. So I prefer heavy armor + Bonemass + Fire Resist Barley Wine. The last upgrade for the forge that yall are missing is the grinding wheel. You need to make it with the stone cutter. P.S. after 2 weeks of first finding this channel I have officially watched this whole series upto this point and I've loved every minute of it.
Have you been back to Hildir to check her map table to see if the two missing towers are actually somewhere else now? If you get to the top of a sealed tower you canhang a platform off the side and put a portal there for easy returning. Basic coups for the chickens or an autobreeder? In my personal experience an autobreeder is best for chickens,especially if you want to cook omelettes for a second stam food.
Chimpkins cheese the tower by using the sledge from outside the bottom floor of it. time consuming and not worth it if you have higher than Mistland tier gear.

Fair effort on the fight though Waffles, you totally nailed it about 95% of the time (not easy for sure!), just make certain you don't accidentally waste those eggs, and PLEASE make a fully enclosed chicken barn, I can't imagine how you guys would feel if you went through all that just to lose all your hens to a raid or something, that would SUUUUUCK. P.S. my like was the 69th....nice.
