This woman has all my admiration, I knew that while learning to play at this level, she also found the time to graduate brilliantly in medicine. Hats off to her !
Next to the fact that you’re an amazingly talented bass-player, what I love most about your video’s, is to see how much fun you have playing and how you really feel the music. 👏🏼
I was playing that tune in '77. Nice to see TOP appreciation! Good job! Opened for them in '77 at Lamar University in Texas.Rocco came over after the gig and drank some black jack with us. Was crapping my pants knowing I was sitting there having a drink with the "Man."
excellent effort. i remember when this song was new...yes i'm that old..and i was a young bass player. to this day i say this was the hardest song for me to learn to play. that staccato style would make my forearm cramp up. so bravo to you.
Girl, you are KILLLING ME!!!!! i LOVE this song and you do not miss a note!!!! Fantastic!!!! Thank you for putting this out there. I have been trying for MONTHS to get this piece down and you have GOT IT. Great Style also. Fantastic Thanks!!!!!!!!
I have been playing in horn bands for 40 years so I know my music. All I have to say is WOW!!!!!. I LOVE your style. you play a lot like me and I have played all over the world with the best musicians. Keep up the good work
This type of part only works if it is super, super-tight, and this is how it should be done. It has to pop and, despite the hard-core right hand workout, you can't ever push it or fall behind or it loses the funk. She keep it right on the money and it feels great.
bang on, that's what makes this song so hard for the bass player. It's a work out to keep timing and that tight note progression. I still haven't mastered this song.
@@nickharris9761 A world class guitar player whose never played bass before wouldn't be able to play with this amount of feel, getting the nuances of left hand muting in this song aswell as the difficult string crossing in the right hand. After a few weeks they might be able to technically play it, but it would sound crap, like a guitarist trying to play bass.
Alessandra, you are soo articulate in the way you play. Absolutely fabulous, I've heard quite a number of other reditions, but I just have to come back to you and enjoy and enoy and . . . enjoy. You're absolutely fantastic!
