It might seem a bit odd that I'm putting out a bunch of Townes' Covers. But honestly, he's just that good! A huge inspiration to me. Last week, I came across his song "Tower Song" for the first time, and it totally blew me away! That's why I'm covering it today. Along with "I'll be here in the morning" and "Waiting around to die," I think this is one of his absolute best. From his 1971 album "Delta Momma Blues.

Can't get enough of these. Love em, man. Keep posting. I love the tone of your fingerpicking. It's really top notch. And excellent vocal performance to boot. The quicker melodic run downs are more pronounced than how Townes does it. Awesome interpretation, man.

Wonderful song, Satori. I can see why you like Townes van Zandt. His profound lyrics and melodies are simply gorgeous. I can see watching your emotions that you put a lot of feeling into this beautiful cover. I enjoyed listening to your version! :-)

Thanks Bret! Really appreciate you tuning in! This is such a heartfelt song in my opinion. I've been listening to him for a long time but only stumbled upon this one recently and I am very glad I did!
