Hey, my MIP cvd kit came with 2 little spacers, do you happen to know where they go? looks like your kit didn't come with any, I'm guessing they go on the inside of the axle before the wheel hex? Id appreciate any help, thanks.
Great video. I’m a bit nervous about opening up the transmission. Don’t want to mess it up. I have the MIP Top Shaft and Slipper Clutch. I also have the Aluminum Motor plate. When I change the pinion, I’m going to go all in. Also my stock slipper clutch ( blue ) dusted everywhere on Brushless.
So one quick thing you can do is put a zip tie around the stock servo saver and that will help tighten it up. but losi also sells an aluminum replacement servo horn that works great.
I thought the same of the plastic idler gear but ended up installing anyways just because i thought mip makes all metal upgrades so i think there is a good reason why its plastic maybe because aluminum and steel dont match and steel will destroy the aluminum.
They do come with oil in them. But if you are looking to put new oil in your shocks. we would recommend putting 32.5wt in the front and 30wt in the rear.
I dialed out the steering dual rate to 50% and I still have the same steering travel. The factory setting was way too high. The servo saver absorbed the extra travel but no doubt it was stressing the servo.
I have the mini b pro, I put the goolrc 7200kv, with a 35 amp esc, I run the gens ace 3s 800mah battery in it. It fits with zero mods. I put the receiver on the servo. So everything fits. Didn't want or need the 2n1. It's a dang speed racer. It's faster than my 1/8th scale.
That car stand has got to be the most useless thing I’ve ever seen 😂.. the car is so small you can use just about anything laying around the house for a work stand
