I have a pair of these which I picked up for $100 for the pair as a spare tire while my old JBLs were going to get repaired. Not the same quality as my JBLs at all, but not bad. I still haven't gotten those old guys fixed, so I can't be that unhappy. :-) I need to test them against my Polk T50s in the other room.
You did well, put them speakers up,so the Twitter hits you ears. They are only 30 inches, and the tallest towers are 40 some inches plus. And away from the wall. They,speakers,are awesome at 8 feet apart
I read up on some reviews that the lows and highs were good except the mids while others say all three were good. Since you're a audiophile, are the mids good? Would this also be good for clear and crisp dialog for these speakers when someone is talking? I plan to get them for a 2.0 setup for video games and movies.
Apparently this tweeter is more like a Magnaplanar design. They call it an Air Motion Transformer. As BBH says, this is not a dome. I am also not going to get the full audio experience listening to this through my $20 Logitech pc speakers. : - )
