First off, thank you very much for making this video it is a masterpiece itself… now plz let me know the name of the 2 “fav songs” of yours with those dynamic bass drops you were talking about ??
thats about what 1 15 should get at 1500 watts if it was in the trunk and a box. not bad for an infinate baffle what so ever, takes up less space and looks abit better with finish work
idk if you take recommendations but i was wondering if you could check out golden eagle, they got a 12 inch 1500 watt rms sub that looks pretty good, ive seen people give 2 of them 7k watts and they take them like a champ, and they are only $150 which is crazy for what you get for it
I've always been against all in one's myself. I myself have three different setups in my 3 rides. First my 06 Mazda rx8. It has an aftermarket alpine with the 6.5 inch screen. I had to spend almost 400 on the wiring harness and dash kit since the car had a bose stereo to begin with. I left the speakers and regular setup I just ran a Rockford fosgate 1000/1 that truly put out what it says. A little more actually. Eventually I upgraded to an insane planet audio pro 3000/1 monoblock wired down to one ohm. Powering two 12 fosgate subs in separate custom sealed boxes I made. And then a blitz 50 farad cap. The wiring was from fosgate ought gauge power and ground and honestly this setup is loud as can be and definitely can be the kind where you can hear it from a block away or tone it down to where it's just balanced out. My other setup is alpine Component 10 inch screen. All the speakers are Memphis as are the 12s and the mono and speakers Amp. It's in my cadi stsv and is what I use if I wanna show off since the Amp is mounted to a hydraulic moving system. Think trying to replicate 2fast 2 furious. The car has tons of led lighting inside and out and is my supercharged beast running solid at 63k even tho it's a 2006. Now usually I'm never a fan of stock stereos however my 2019 audi rs5 sport back has the original bang and olufsen 19 speaker setup and my wife's Benz cls63 2015 has the same make of stereo. Hands down nothing sounds as good and will hit every note without any distortion as well as a bang and O system. Plus the tweeters that pop up out of the dash is hot as can be. We sure have came a long way since I was 16 putting whatever I could get I think I had jbl to start with and a Sony deck in 2003 in the back of my bright red oldsmobile cutlass supreme convertible. Drop top with 20 inch spinners. I thought I was the coolest since everyone else around here drove ol rusty trucks. I was the outcast. Everyone called it a chick's ride.... guess they were right since I was always the one with a few girls wanting to ride with me and not some crappy redneck truck.
I spit my drink out when I saw the rms wattage of that taramp. Maaaaan. Currently building a box for one of these on the trunk shelf of my 89 town car.
Your voltage drop so im guessing you have your converter set to charge instead of fix. I have my set to fix along with an agm and it holds at 14.4v (set mine at 14.4v). Not sure if i should leave at fix or charge setting.
Does any one know if this is possible to do for a 6.5 inch sundown sub, I am trying to build a box for my 2001 single cab silverado and space is super limited and this seems to solve the issue so I don’t have to port the box
@17:00 ...2 options: obviously use 2 separate terminal cups on the back of the box (1 for each chamber) OR, use(non-galvanized) bolts through the divider wall inside the chamber to run the signals internally. You could probably still do the 2nd option pretty easily if you still have the box. LOL, like all of us, the problem isn't having enough gear, it's having enough vehicles to install all or our gear into ;) Another great video, hope your back gets better soon... 100% understand that. God Bless!
these should use bouble baffles. One that is 8" stock, then a second one with spacers outside of the mechanical limits that are maybe 10 or 12 inches. Would be interesting to se and hear anyway. Like a koaxial, but for subwoofer freq. Give me money now please :)
@0:41 im glad I am not the only one who forgets to remove plastic coverings. I have taken apart our pcs to do some cleaning and realized I never removed the plastic of our 3090s or motherboards, all kinds of stuff. My wife loves teasing me whenever we are unboxing things now.
I’m thinking of running the fierce 12 S in my 4th order which is 1 cube sealed each sub firing into 1 cube ported , question is that too small ? seems like Toro needs big box
The 2 levels your registering... is low pressure freq. & high pressure freq. But I'm impressed with CTs mini sub, like my two-12s don't stay steady like that at even 75Hz. 👏 👏 👏 @CTSounds!
Very Easy When you use Excel for calculations because you can rename cells to variable names, or you can do this entirely in Fusion 360 which is a beast compared to SketchUp and easy to learn man. Its also free. thanks for your content
why do you put the spl meter on the floor. ive seen others do this, and doesnt give you a true reading. Place it on the windshield, where the professionals place it.
I know you're throwing way overrated watts into these subs but clean power ain't going to fry coills like dirty clipped power, most drivers can handle way more than rated power if it's clean and some even need huge over heads to come to life. It is its a good power range for the tinkering you do. Those NVX are very nice for their price point too. Love your passive radiator videos
I have 2 questions, what didn’t you go from end to end and what would happen if you go up the next size on the passive radiator like 10” subwoofer and 12” passive radiator would it work right?
how old are you bro?????? people still putting booming systems in they cars??? wild old school.........or you from the country.......at this point the factory system loud enough frfr......ijs you had to be running round the 80's on some BS!!!!!!!! my brother in law still got the booming systems in his wips........he damn near 60 out this itch!!!!!!!!
