I disagree, you should/could have used the chains, the second to tires got onto the bed. You don't have to use the meat hook's, you could have used the baby J on the chains to Pull the frame down as you winched up. IMO.
Don't you think you should have put a forward safety strap on it, before you started working behind the truck?. Instead of putting so much trust in that winch, while you were behind such a heavy vehicle.
The bed is probably not overloaded. It probably is a 10,000 pound deck capacity and I’m guessing that F350 is right under or right at 10,000 pounds. However, the rear axle of the Ram might be overloaded, which removes front axle weight. Although, the front suspension still looks compressed and not extended
