one thing I noticed you need to put some airbags under your truck to level your truck apparently the weight of your RV is more than the springs themselves can handle I tow a 33 ft with an F-250 and the first thing I did was put Goodyear airbags under my truck made a world of difference with handling in the ride especially on bouncy roads just an FYI

With your leveling system, hitch height would have been better. Retract all is after you're hooked up and can retract all. Up and down arrow is for fine tuning front landing gear. Should also have a panel inside your camper.

You really need to get a set of the Factory rubber splash guards and mud flaps. They are way cheap and very good quality. I put a full set on my 21 Duelly and they keep the trailer clean and the rocks off the front of my rear fenders. I got them from the dealership. Just remember your truck has the fender flaire so they are different. They fit nicely and were fairly easy to install myself 👍

You need to pull the pin on the jacks to manually extend the jack then It won’t bottom out like that.

The auto level system does not have the manual landing gear adjustment.

I name every vehicle I’ve owned. When I got my rv my sisters were with me. Once we got it parked, my sister accidentally hit play on her phone as she was getting ready for bed. The whole trailer filled with John Denver’s Calypso. Yes, we named it The Calypso. “Aye calypso the places you’ve been to, the things that you’ve shown us, the stories to tell…” 😊

My f250 tows 22,000 pounds my f350 pulls more both single axle no need for a dully nice rig tho hope yall been doing good 2 years in

I have a rod marked for the length of each slide travel, all mine are different. Before I unhook, I check it by putting it against the camper to see how far it will be away from any obstruction that may be too close.

If your Truck and RV weight is over 26,000 lbs in most states you're required to have a CDL license . If you don't and get in a accident it's your fault even if it's not . I have found that if your RV is on a tilt you can put tire pads on the low side and put up on them and raise the low side then hit auto level . I hope you guys enjoy RV life 💓 I'm 61 and been doing this for a couple years and loven it .

In most all states RVs are exempt. That is why the HDT community register there trucks as RVs.

It's amazing that the dealer that you purchased it from did not spend time explaining EVERYTHING. Nice big unit but do they just not equip with a generator anymore? I guess everyone now just parks at a place with full hookups and miss so much.

retract all is going to retract all. you use that when youve hooked up to the 5th wheel to retract all the legs back inside the cylinder so you can drive away with it.

Our retract all only retracts the back 4 leveling jacks. Front two stay down.

Pond maintenance is never-ending ,but it's nice to have I put 2 fountains to aerate the water. Good luck.

Just avoid general rv in orange park, FL. That place is full of worthless people from sales to service. That's where I bought mine and wish I went elsewhere.

Any suggestions if working on the road (contract nurse) and needing a second vehicle, are there rv parks that accommodate a second vehicle?

Many people tow a driving vehicle behind their RV and all campgrounds allow for a second vehicle. You just need to find the right set up. 😀

@@LessJunkMoreJourney we are planning on a fifthwheel, a truck, and a mini van. I sometimes work 12 hour shift and need to provide a vehicle for my family to get around. So to clarify, there are parks that allow this many vehicles?

@@MP57719In that case most of the time yes. You might have to park one of the vehicles in overflow parking but often they will allow that many cars.

make sure you have good quality tires on your rig - I'd get the ones that came with the unit changed out. pay attention to the code date of the tires to -because little china people don't have the same standards as USA and or Canada. My trailer that I own is a heavy 1988 prowler that came with load range C tires, I upgraded to a load range D being that my unit is 6800 pounds but long in length - Yours being 12000 be sure to not go over you cargo limit weight. and never travel with water in your fresh tank. Take the time to also to have good tires on you truck as well and Never chince out on the {goal} system - Get Out And Look.. Welcome to your new life style. There's lots to learn

I mention this, hopefully as a helpful tip, and for the benefit of other viewers as well. Please don't swing the camera around. It's hard to watch and not feel some motion sickness. I served 5 years on ships and still get sea-sick - if you can imagine that. I can't wait to see more from you, and hope you take it as positive feedback, and not complaining. Thanks!!
