One of the best days of my life. Born in 2002, I have waited around 20 years for a day like this. Oh boy was it worth it! A great group of people as well as footballers. A seriously talented bunch. Couldn't be prouder of my club. COYB
Supported the club for 50 years. Been to Wembley 1978 and 2000, but this was possibly the best of the lot. Just an exorcising of the death spiral we were in, and the unity between Owners, Management, Manager, Players, All others staff and Supporters is very special indeed. Kieran Mc Kenna is a very, very special manager and Mark Ashton did a great job getting him to come here. I can only see him leaving us for the Spurs or United jobs, to be honest, as I think we can get to the Premiership sooner than people think. Just a wonderful decision to film all this and share it. Thank you to all involved for the best season since 1981
For too many years we've been referred to as a sleeping giant. Well now this giant is wide awake, and its thanks to the unrelenting hard work and application of this incredible squad, the coaching staff, management, and everyone else behind the scenes, giving life and renewed hope, which has translated into the stands. Portman Road has been absolutely rocking this season, and few fanbases can say they deserve to watch a promotion more than Town. Gamechanger, you have transformed a struggling club into vibrant and believing club, a club with ambition, a club that has a heartbeat once more. For too many seasons I watched us struggle. Can't tell you what it means to have my club back. We've waited two decades to feel good again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Can you just stop making me cry for 5 minutes...please ! This is just awesome, thank you to the players, the staff, the owners, Mark Ashton, Mike O Leary all of you have done a wonderful thing. Onwards and definitely upwards ! 💙💙💙💙💙
Great to see John-Jules there celebrating with the rest of the lads. It says a lot about him and the club togetherness that he wanted to be there and was welcomed back.
I'm so glad you are finally back in the championship, the atmosphere you captured within the video was amazing. I was watching Town in 5 since around the world cup break because its a little difficult watching the games from Germany. From what I've seen you have a great team, manager and fans and hopefully you will at least stay in the championship. I'll surely watch a match at Portman Road in the next few years. Greetings from Düsseldorf
That was just amazing I am welling up with happiness it's like the end of 20+ years of frustration & you can see the passion in the team. Loved seeing Ashton celebrating with the players you can see he so passionate about the club & what can you say about super Kieran McKenna tactical genius 🍾🍾🍺🍺
What a season for the Tractor Boys🚜. Great to get promotion on the last home game and the way we did it - 6-0 🤩. Buzzing for the championship next year, I love everything about this club - the players, staff, board and fans are amazing! Looking forward to premier league football soon 😉. COYB🔵⚪️
@@geoffpoole483 Evans left our club in tatters left us as supporters feeling so down… from the new owners CEO and the whole team makes us all so proud to be Ipswich Town fans again….. bring on 23/24 season …
@@stevehoward8570 Evans didn't seem at all bothered about the club's decline, and he was the prime cause of it. The local radio commentary summed it up: "A decade of disillusion, discontent and disconnect has just been swept away". The future's lookiung bright!
Pure quality again , whoever makes these films , just simply superb , times like these don’t come around too often in life so lap it up !! You can see how much it means to everyone at the club , so much hard work behind the scenes , as for the fans of late , just incredible , pushing the team to victory in some tough games , I’m so proud to be a blue
Congratulations ipswich! I know the feeling of promotion with burnley! We're going to best league in the world. ❤ But I hope you Surpise a few next season and smash the championship really enjoyed watching ipswich games. Also you was unlucky at turf in cup! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm from Nottingham and have supported Ipswich for 46 years I was 10 when I watched us beat arsenal 1-0 in the fa Cup final people ask me why I sapport Ipswich when I'm from Nottingham I was born a blue 💙 you run through my veins I'm so proud to love my Ipswich from a kid thank you boys for thos special moment you make me so proud I've never missed a weekend or weekday of any of our games thank you
I've been a Town supporter since '75. In 84 we moved back to the UK. There was a Bedfordshire Ipswich supporters club that ran coaches up to Portman Rd. I would travel to every home game on the coach. I have never, ever seen such an amount of fan support as this. In the 90's they stopped running the coaches so getting to Portman Road was an arse. I'd go to the occasion games but I'd have to go down to London to then get a train to Ipswich. I managed to see us get promoted to the Premiere League just before I moved back to the US. I used to be able to listen to the matches via the internet for free. The Prem hadn't caught on over here yet. I subbed to the iplayer and watched all the turmoil of Keane, Jewel, McCarthy, then the dreaded multiple Paul's and Marcus Evans. I've had the fortune to meet many of the old Town players. Brazil, Osgood, Butcher, Lambert my hero Cooper and Osman. I'm over the moon to see Town back in the Championship. Hopefully we can add to the squad to get out of the Championship and back to the Prem. Well done to the lads! Come on you tractor boys!
What an incredible day. This group of lads is something special, genuinely nice guys and they deserve this. One of the toughest promotion battles in League one history, and they've come through it. Makes me very emotional watching that - we have a team of heroes who love the club and play for the badge and the fans. Thanks for an amazing season.
Ipswich Town's season has been nothing short of exceptional a absolute joy to watch. We are currently the best team in the world in terms of form. (Well atleast, in the last ten games that is.) Long may it continues. Congratulations to mcKenna and Guys. Big moves 📈🚜💙
Sitting here with tears of joy pouring down my cheeks. Forever a Town fan and on the pitch after the epic Playoff semi-final against Bolton and then at the final. Been waiting to experience all those feelings again and this has done just that. The team behind these videos has done an incredible job all season to make all the fans feel part of what is an incredibly special group of players and staff. I can proudly celebrate with my son and know that we have a lot of good times ahead 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
The club is in good hands, and with a talented young manager like McKenna, I can definitely envision this squad of players with a few smart additions being competitive in the Premier League very soon if all goes well. Most importantly though, the fanbase is absolutely buzzing and can help drive this team onto even greater heights.
So proud of you guys! 💙 The way you represent our club is a joy to behold and perfectly encapsulated in this video... from the connection to the supporters, the engagement with the young fans, wearing the shirt with pride and the commitment to core values running right through the team! Keep up the great work - we love ya for it!
I'm a long way from my home town - Ipswich - I was born in 1965. Saw my first (that I can remember) back in 1972. I've been through good and bad times with the Blues. Now I'm sitting at my desk feeling so very proud of the lads. They've done an incredible job, the manager and everyone deserve all the paludits they're getting. Now I'm on tenterhooks hoping for the title next Saturday.
All the way in florida now.... grew up a tractor boy will die a tractor boy. Miss the town and the people. Brought a tear to my eye seeing this video. Let's go blue army.

Now you're looking like a club that belongs in the big time just as you did 40 years ago. I look forward to seeing you in the Premier League soon. From an NUFC fan. Congratulations.
Something i've noticed after the 20th time of watching this, mad respect to Lee Evans @ 13:46 helping Morsy with a towel to shield him from the alcohol. This club 🚜
I love watching the byplay between chappers and KM in the dressing room celebrations. Starts with chappers chasing KM with champagne and as chappers starts singing the KM song we see KM pour the rubbish bin over chappers head. If that is a small window into how KM builds relationships . You can see why KM is going to be a top manager.
