I saw a tiktok video of some armed forces person joking about going on official orders to pick up girl scout cookies and all I could think of the entire video was the Nsburg girl scouts.

I enjoy that both Night Vale and Nsburg have militias of highly dangerous children.

Need that on my wall stat!

I had feelings that they might build to *some* form of RT3 getting removed from office in the final episode, but a) they were an episode early, and 2) I never expected a MILITARY OVERTHROW (let's be honest - the Nsburg Girl Scouts ARE it's mustered soldiery; they're better organized and regulated than some nations' regular military). I guess with this entire episode involved with the actual deposing, we'll need the next episode to 'clew up loose ends' and re-establish municipal government for Nsburg. And what happens NEXT will decide whether this remains just a "coup" (a noun referencing an event; best definition is "a takeover of one group by another"...for now), or becomes a "coup d'etat" (takeover of the established *government*, with replacement of merely the top person/people) or even a "revolution" (overthrow of the whole existing government by a group that forms a different government). If the Girl Scouts put the entire Town Council out of office and replace them with members from their ranks, for example, they would be said to 'form a junta to rule Nsburg' (proper noun for a group: "the ruling council of a military dictatorship") In any case, exciting times for Nsburg and obviously more of the same in the future!

C'mon, Beej! Put that business expertise to good use!

Turns out you can pitch up audio of adult men screaming in battle and it sounds like children screaming in battle!

Dunno where you're getting the PMC; a claim could be made for 'paramilitary' like a 'citizen's militia', but it's a municipally funded and regulated organization - heck the Nsberg Girl Scouts are better organized than some nations' regular military forces. I think the point was, Dick Therpston III didn't HAVE any allies - he'd alienated even his power base of the Secret Pipesmen in his violent classist elitism and contempt for virtually everyone who isn't him, based on his self-perceived station in society.

This has been building through all three seasons.
