I love Land Rover enthusiasts, it takes genuine commitment to be one. Every time you start your engines something breaks and it doesn't even need to be your trucks.... Stopped in your tracks because you couldn't clear a twig of a tree branch because a chainsaw broke down... and then a shoulder broke down... that is comedy gold. There's no denying the Series and even original Defenders are the most capable trucks ever built though. I've seen a modified Land Cruiser get stuck when a stock Series just trots on by. Light weight and proper mechanical 4WD, it's a great platform.
Haha I’d love to be a Land Rover owner really would love a series 3…I’d never get stuck haha Bomber had a shoulder injury so didn’t want to put more strain or pressure on it.. Great day had by all snd and a visit to our favourite spicy lane which has changed so much! 😎
@@ALL_4_WHEELS We love our Land Rovers here in NZ too. The first time I drove a car was when my grandad let me drive his Series 2A. When I was really young he used to sit me in the spare wheel on the bonnet and drive me around in that... "don't tell your mother". I'm lucky to be alive come to think of it. These days I'm driving a rebuilt Hilux Surf. Series Land Rovers and 1990's Toyotas, best of their eras.

@@ALL_4_WHEELS I'm deep south, bottom of the South Island. I love Hayden's channel too, he makes some amazing content. I love to give him shit about Land Rovers too lol. Hayden gets into some amazing places here and has great knowledge of NZ tracks. And no, although it felt like I would die at the time, my grandad knew wheeling and was careful enough to not bump me off the spare and run me over lol.
If you had bought a Land Cruiser it would have floated past all these obstacles without any issues - that is at least what most owners tell me when driving theirs on the school run.
Haha oh yes definitely!! It was tricky to judge which line to take as the defenders are not very wide..but the newbie in the defender credit where it’s due he did that washout silky smooth!!
@@ALL_4_WHEELS I’ve literally paused it at that spot so haven’t seen him drive it yet just making some food & coffee to sit down & watch it on my TV rather than my phone..
@@ALL_4_WHEELS I just went back & watched again.. just realised I did watch him, drove that nicely.. it was when the Mitsubishi was getting dug out with the maxtrax is where I paused it.. tell you what some cracking views there.. good lanes & good drives all around..
@paulschofield985 sometimes just a little bit of a different line can make all the difference!! I think when they saw bomber get stuck oh heck we are doomed haha but they all did well!! Such a great day as always

That first lane was unbelievable! those washouts were extreme, I'm not sure I'd have attempted to cross them in either one of my discos. So fair play to the lads for that. Spicy lane is still great
Pretty wild for the first lane but as we came down hill there was no way of getting back up! I’m glad we didn’t go the other way would of been a long day haha
That’s what they are called or green lanes,green roads etc 😂 another thing is there’s certain organisations that’s get really angry when you say we’re off-road haha they don’t like that term used! Hope you’re doing good Hayden?😎👍👍
Haha nope honestly this was the first lane of the day and the legend got stuck! Haha that’s twice he’s got stuck on the vids (last one on the secret trail vid) haha to be fair the lane was pretty wild even bomb said glad we didn’t go the other way as would of caused all sorts of problems huge washouts behind that corner to the right! Cracking lane to start on though! Haha
Haha gotta get my steps in! 😉 we was pretty lucky as I had a back up plan just incase the water levels were high but to be fair even after all that rain was pretty good.. We’ve eased off doing any major river crossings now especially after a lot of rain fall,was a fantastic day out! 😎👍

It’s difficult as I’m filming at the same time there was only me at the front. Big washout that was..also he took that direction so could get up to where he was winching get snatch block out and winch the other vehicles.. 😎👍

You have some great off-road places to explore in Malaysia,defenders vary in price you could get a really rough one £4000 to a stunning tidy one £50k-£60k Enjoy the videos! 😎👍
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Yeah being watching yr video since I found yr channel n hv subscribe it. There for a rough defender at £4k is a good price, here for a faulty one which has been lying for many years will cost at Rm15k and a tidy will cost Rm80k ++
