Amazing video guys love it!!!. You're living in a beautiful country as well, there is full of dramatic scenery to film these kind of videos. Love that Range .
Got to love things like diff locks etc that were standard on the only 'old' Range Rover that I used once to put my boat in a river by backing it in normally on it's trailer where none of the 4X4s I had driven before would have even been able to get out again. Always been about the best mix of luxury road vehicle and very well set up and capable 4X4s on the market.
Toy- no iota !! lol!!. Friggin Impressive Range Rover Classics- Loads a faith in RR Classic, Cant see any of the New Range Rovers even sniffin at this, RR Classic is the Daddy
Why this does not have more views-AWESOME PIECE! So sick of posers and love when people upload vids like this-my channel also has a lot of Jeep stuff from my 06 Hemi Grand Cherokee wheeling.
Excellent Range Rover Classic cars but the drivers were boofheads for driving through flood water. What were they trying to prove? Incidentally I own a 1984/85 RRC.
Well done in a tight spot. preemptive tow rope is a good idea. If I saw water like that I would have just camped and waited it to calm. I don't get much experience in water crossings here is Saudi though. I guess that's one case where a lighter vehicle is not an advantage.
YES VERY DETERMINED,YOU KNOW ONE TRICK IS TO LET YOU FLOOR FILL WITH WATER SO YOUR CAR DOES NOT FLOAT THEN YOU CAN GET TRACTION [SOMTIMES] ANYWAY GOOD JOB!
Mick Langley Thanks Mike. Presumably ARB's front n back with 24 spline half shafts ???. How does the transmission cope with the large diameter mits ???
range rover, la mejor maquina todoterreno. Muy bonito este video. Felicidades ! Yo tengo un ejemplar de estos en preparacion, lastima que por aqui en españa hay poco recambio y vale un dineral....saludos !
why ? what do you think is wrong with it now? it is fine, i see nothing wrong with it...this was made back when the made cars simple, stong, and bilt to last. this is not a new sissy computer car like stupodgenious1 said, that was not a fail, that was bad ass
What's up with these toyota comments? Trolls?? I drive a Toyota and the other toyota drivers I know respect a great driver and love to see well built rigs of any brand. I doubt a real toyota driver wrote those comments and if so probably bought it 5th hand and are just jelous of the marquee brand.
Win! For sure! Well done with the persistence. The rivers up that way change quite quickly and a lesser prepared vehicle would not have been so lucky. Your V8 didn't let you down in such a wet situation. Dry out your gear, remove carpets, hose it out, change the oils if necessary and off you go.One of the last fairly simple yet exceptionally capable 4wds of the era, even in very lightly modified form. Well done.
Inexperience...if he moved his steering wheel left to right instead of having the wheels spinning in a straight forward direction, he would have gained a lot more traction and pulled out of that...keep that in mind when bogged or using 4wd.

Tim Jones - You're a bloody idiot mate.... a Toyota would have lost all grip and would not have been able to claw it's way out.... only the latest V8 Landcruisers could cope.... all other Toyotas - no hope!!
Tim Jones, 2012, Crooked River, Talbotville, Victorian High Country. A Toyota Landcruiser Kakado ( hamburger with the lot ) last crossing into Talbotville. KaKado inhaled a gut full of water an hydrauliced the nice new diesel engine. Had to be flat-trayed out from there. I'll stick with the old clunker thanks!
