Toxic women are everywhere. When I first began socializing in wealthier circles I was constantly asked to host parties, dinners, showers, etc. Everyone raved about how great I was. Whenever any one of them needed to talk or a shoulder to cry on, they would call me. I even went to one’s house at 2am to console her because her sister died unexpectedly. I’m not on social media so I didn’t realize these same ladies were getting together for spa days, shopping trips, and vacations. I wasn’t included in any of those. I didn’t even know until my husband showed me on Facebook. They were basically using me as free help. I dumped the whole group and befriended ladies are amazing, caring, and reciprocate my giving. I learned a really valuable lesson from this. Classy, ratchet, feminine, masculine, rich, poor, it doesn’t matter. Toxic comes in all flavors. Just make sure you vet your social circle and get rid of anyone that drags you down.

The fact that Ari lacks total awareness of her own toxicity tells me how lost she really is.

Vicky needs to leave. She is being bullied. Also, ari is a nasty person. I used to follow her but I stopped. Her attitude is sick. I bet you they all do drugs and she putting her on blast like that. Sick. But therapy is needed after that.

Most friend groups are never good, there’s always a hierarchy where this is a leader and someone who is the butt of the joke, when I was in high school I was in this friend group where they constantly made jokes about me and never defended me when I confronted them about this they said “you’re just sensitive” at that time I was scared to be alone during my high school years which I regret cause I realized it’s better to be alone then be with negative people but I was insecure, once I graduated high school I changed my phone number, deleted social media and started working on myself, I now have lost 24 pounds, paid off my car, got into nursing school and have a job that pays me well, I’m 20 and still young but I’m glad I went through this experience it made me stronger, I now only have 2 friends but that’s perfectly fine. Once you find happiness within yourself you don’t need many friends

This used to be my life. I had a toxic friend circle and ex close friend. I was never celebrated, I was very selfless and the main one used that to their advantage, I felt crazy, out of place, and was left out of many things. And the one friend did try to fight me before but I stopped it cuz I was a peace maker. Not anymore. I put myself FIRST, I dont talk to a lot of ppl anymore, and Im really enjoying my peace and solitude. No one gets to run over me anymore, tell me to put myself last, or take my peace. I love it here

This video is so needed!!! I dealt with a toxic friendship in high school and ended it freshman year of college when I got accepted on the Model UN team and started getting busier. I just couldn't do it anymore. We were good friends for a few years until she went boy crazy junior year of HS. I introduced her into my friend group and we all got along but she slowly started disappearing when she got involved with a boy and come back when it didn't work out. She spent so much time chasing guys that she went to college a semester late behind me and the rest of my friends :/ This is after I tried to help her attend college with me and that I would help her if she got in. Somehow she was able to go on dates with shitty guys and cry about it on the phone to me late at night but never had time to go to the mall, sleepovers, or school dances with the rest of us. It was sad because we really did have some fun and good times together and we're close, but you also got to handle your business to. Failure to do that has consequences and as time go on everyone won't be there to only hear your issues. That's another thing. I noticed she would always switch the conversation back to her when I talked about my problems. She would also never respond well to my academic achievements like my other friends did. When I dropped my toxic friend, I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and I could focus while hanging out with like minded people.

I had a friend that was a childhood friendship that was toxic. It ended last year. I’m glad we’re not friends anymore. Wish her the best. And Ari is her role model as well.

I used to feel bad for not having a lot of friends, but now I know that it's best for me to protect my own energy. The friends I do have live out of state (thank goodness, I met them in college) and we don't treat each other like this. My spirit don't even like being around toxic people like this. 🤢

I’m in the same boat with attracting toxic friends since I have a very open, bubbly personality. However, I kept attracting short term friends or friends that actually are more of bullies than anything. I found through therapy I lack boundaries as a kid and I would flee when life got difficult to not hurting anyone feelings (because I know how it feels to be rejected from something/someone). Now it’s been easier to manage meaningful relationships and also hold myself accountable at the same time.

She is so toxicc. It’s Ari calling everyone else crazy and the gaslighting for me . She has such a negative heavy energy

Who needs enemy’s with friends like them. Her energy is just so dark and negative. Someone is going to humble her publicly one day and it’s going to be all bad. Also, I noticed that attractive women will sometimes befriend other attractive women just because they’re attractive with no actual base/foundation to the friendship which will never end well.

I was in a toxic friend group, and I didn't realise until I moved city , they were passive aggressive, they showed me Toxic positivity , while I was in depression and anxiety their solution to every problem that I had and told them was "just be happy , don't think about it" u don't say that with people with depression , they were nice nasty many times and I was been left out in the group many times , and they acted like their friendship within them was perfect when in reality all friendship has at least 1 argument , and I bet they talked shit about me too tho ...but I don't care 🤷🏾‍♀️ I don't talk to them anymore

My ex-bestie hardly checked her man for disrespecting me. At some point I had to acknowledge how far she was willing to let that go unacknowledged. Ladies, please pay attention to how your “friends” allow their partners to treat THEM. No doubt, those same “friends” will allow their partners to disrespect you, as well. Most of the time, not even telling them about the issues will do anything, so you can scratch that off your check list LOL! Just distance yourself or end the friendship, and HEAL! Growth is being able to stand alone and cut ties with toxic people no matter how much it may hurt in the moment. It’ll be better and feel better in the long run to choose yourself and let people who are meant for you to come as they come. Being alone forces you to come to terms with why you allowed toxic people to stay and why it hurt to let them go.

On Jan 1st, I finally made the decision to pull back from a “friendship” that was not benefitting me. I could say we had grown apart due to living in separate parts of the country but that wasn’t the case. I was always made to feel like the bad guy and when my feelings were hurt, I was never allowed to hold that person accountable. The day I stepped back was when I saw that person for who they truly were.

I felt annoyed, overwhelmed, and exhausted listening to that live stream.

I've known my BFF since we were teenagers & we argue once in a while, but we never talk to each other like this. I would never call my friend names like this or threaten to beat her up. This is not a friendship, it seems more like a toxic situationship where the so called friend doesn't genuinely care for you, but is only sticking around because it benefits her in some way. This person is probably only Ari's friend because she's a celebrity.

*Time. We feel like we owe that person bc, they were there when we started. I had to break off a couple of friendships once I started elevating. A majority of insecure women want sidekicks who they can look down on. It is lonely to only have 2-3 friends but, my soul is at peace.*

I couldn't imagine living a life with people like this in it. For about 10 yrs now I only keep those that are positive & supportive close by. There's enough in life I can't control that can bring me down that I don't need "friends" like this around 😒

1) You may not be able to steer away from toxic people on your job and family, but you don't have to have toxic friends. It's easy to spot toxic people : Always in trouble, always throwing shade, they have toxic friends, they're very competitive, always arguing or fighting with S/O. They lie and gossip constantly, they get you into trouble, drama follows them etc. Everybody does this sometimes. With toxic people, its a way of life. Let's not kid ourselves, a lot of people love drama. If you really hate it, you'll steer away from it. 2 ) I don't believe in frienemies. You're either my friend or you're not. Most of those relationships are toxic. 3) People who are compelled to stay in toxic friendships, are the same ones compelled to stay with toxic boyfriends/husbands.

I want peace, love, kindness, forgiveness, communication, respect - I don’t fight verbally nor physically my so call “real friends”. This is too exhausting !! Ari been toxic since she talk about wanting her man to choose dv to prove to her that he wants her. But speaking from a personal experience with toxic friendship--I message my “friend” privately and she decided to address the issue publicly in front of her family. We are no longer friends. I don’t go around her nor do I have her number anymore. It was red flags 🚩 but I choose to ignore them and that made me look foolish in the end. It was more behind the scenes, but I’m not reliving that. I forgive her but I won’t ever forget. When people show you who they truly are believe them.

Wow, thank you for making this video. I just recently (a few months ago) finally walked away from TWO toxic friends that I’ve known since around 2014. I’ve realize (with My Therapist) that when I was suffering from depression and low self-esteem issues, they were happy to be my friends even though it came with conditions. Now that I have grown, I begin to realize that they weren’t truly happy for my accomplishments the way I was happy for the years and they weren’t comfortable with me outgrowing the depressed sad lonely girl that they knew. I’m not going to lie, they are still times within these last few months that I would think of them and I will get sad but then I would remember that even though we had good Times bad Times were so toxic that they had to go

Call me evil. I don't care. But I feel Ari is going to end up die young one day. Like, these actions aren't healthy or safe. A friend might beat to her death, a boyfriend might shot her, her "group" might leave her in an dangerous situation, etc. Plus with the fact she's documents parts of life on social media without a care on how it might affect her in the real world. I don't see her growing old.

I am in my 30s. When it comes to friendships with any woman, I have no problem ✂️ off any toxicity in my life. I am on my divestment journey have changed my career, 👭 friendships, and relationships. I am at the point in my life of having a diverse group of friends. Ari and Vicky are very toxic. They need to separate from each other and move on with their life. They both need therapy too. Please go where you appreciate yourself, especially when it comes to friendship.

Can I be real, real. I know this behavior happens in all communities but I promise black women really struggle with friendships. I have tried to be a friend to black women my whole life and no matter how kind or loyal you are, it’s not reciprocated or they turn on you. Most of it derives from jealousy and insecurity.

It’s giving Stockholm Syndrome on Vicki’s end.. they’re all toxic asf! I couldn’t even finish listening to all that, that was so sad to see how they all ganged up on Vicki. Not to mention how gross it was seeing people co-sign the behaviors. I guarantee a lot of Ari’s “friends” are only around because they don’t want to be on the bad side, I.e. “if you can’t beat them, join them”. Ugh this is sickening, the breakdown with all of them had to have started young; no empathy, rude, selfish, ignorant, and much more is being enabled. Shame that people think this is cute/funny and gets you what you want, but I can’t fault people for thinking that way because this type of behavior does superficially get them what they want and is often encouraged. Why would you stop acting like that if you aren’t humble and accepting of the consequences?

This is why I don’t drink with people or friends or family because I feel like when you’re drinking it exposes you to a lot of danger . plus it’s just not fun drinking because there’s a lot of arguing and fight ,people throwing up all over the place .people passed out random places .it’s just a hot ass mess.

It’s real simple ! You get what you give! Especially in this situation!
