When I make mine, I use a sheet of carbon fiber, cut it to fit the chassis screws on the underside and mount it similar to a skid plate, at full suspension compression in the rear it should just slightly clear the ground. The softer little wheel you use the better. The slight flex of the cf material and the give in the tire, gives me that fraction I need to blip the throttle, people always think I’m cheating using yaw control. I don’t, I just spend endless hours on setup. I learned that from you sir. Every extra minute spent on set up pays off huge when you hit that trigger.

Dam that talon is nuts. Very nice. Should throw some extra weight on that front end. With some lead fishing anchors or little lead square weights. That are used in the Pine Box Derby race cars.. A buddy uses them in his 100mph traxxas rustler. There little .50-1oz. Squares strapped to the front bulkhead. Nice build though can't wait to see a full pull pass. I really think you should look into getting a wheelie bar for the talion but sick build you never seese to amaze with your builds. Can't wait to see what's next for your monster talion build
I had similar wheelie issues with those wheels mounted on my Typhon with Mojave arms... I Added a DumboRC Gyro to help. I tried the JustBashIT adapters, but they pushed the wheels out too far for my liking & steering geometry. But they work reliably with both sized hub carriers. I settled on some from EMP that I found on Ebay. But they only work well with Kraton Hubs. At the time I had Vitavon aluminum Typhon style hubs. Got them to work, but they wouldn't lock in reliably. Chasing wheels & finding washers & M4 cap bolts the next day was an experience. Sold the Vitavon hubs & went back to the Kraton ones, but haven't tried them again yet... I'm working out other driveline issues with the stock ARRMA motor & BLX185 ESC Side note, a 29mm center LSD with 500k diff fluid is virtually a locked diff under power. Been experimenting with RWD.

Tuned center diff alone should make her drivable. Narrower stance will help her shoot straight. Gotta love the constant experimentation of this hobby. 🍻😎💪👊👊
love the tech, the video, the power. But hate the look of the car. I'm sorry! everything else, the logic, the development, awesome. Just looks so unrealistic. I know scaler stuff rolls over as soon as you try to turn even at low speed, but there's no middle ground - to go fast, needs to be WIDE. And that spoils of for me. Hmm... I guess at what point does the Talion become something else that is not the Talion? When you start putting infraction arms on it and crush the Talion speed record.... ? The only reason that I mention this is because I am currently going after that record. Sigh... I actually wish you had not made this video.

Oooo yeah. I'm curious to see the narrower track width with the Limitless arms. Also I wonder about those hex adapters Raz. Are they running true and can handle those chonker 1/5th wheels being so far away from the uprights/knuckles. As for converting that 1/5th FG on road? Thats a big 10/4. Hyped for the next installment.
One more thing I have those5th scale adapters but the square part needs to be in more because now the car is too wide but not long enough so it doesn’t drift well at all it just wants to spin around😢
I'm glad to hear that there is a more affordable FLIR phone than the CAT phones. I think you will find it to be a very useful design and repair tool for your work. Looking forward to more experiences with this phone.
Awesome video Raz. Definitely One of my favorites. But if you’re going to change the arms it’s basically it turning it into a Mojave. But I like the idea of changing up the differentials. Definitely can’t wait to see this again
@@dodgymtbknee it won't let me reply with a video but I run a few trucks this my dbxl is 60f earplugs center earplugs rear and it drifts on grass on super spikes. My infraction is all locked for speed runs but still drifts but the front end is vague

Is it better to have your fan blow down (blow cool air on the esc) or have it blow up (blow hot air off the esc) and does the same rule apply to a motor fan and heatsink?
Hi Raz, please post the data log on those new batteries 😁 Based on your tests, I bought CNHL Racing cells for my EDF jets (jets starting from 18kg to 25kg) and they are great. The power you need for speed runs is similar to the EDFs with very high current for a small amount of time (in my case during the start or highspeed sections in the flight). Thus with smallest voltage drop possible... as I always search for "better" batteries, your tests are VERY interessting!!! And great work with your cars!!! In my opinion you are right, I am not really interessted in those basher cars, more in the high end builds and runs! Thank you in advance!

I see people trying to make the front spin faster in hopes of pulling the car straighter. I don't believe that would be the case, I believe all it is going to do is make the entire car break traction easier. Also think about what's going to happen when you hit the brakes at high speed. Aren't the only available differential ratios 2.8, 3.308 and 4.3?? I feel like that is too much of a difference, however if you are having custom gears made I hope that they are a lower ratio than 2.8 and that you are willing to sell me a couple sets, lol. I love your content and I can't wait for the next video and I hope you break 200 mph soon, you definitely deserve it.

here I am thinking something is wrong internally with my RC buggy but after seeing Raz show the unbalanced tires, Im thinking its just the balance of the tires/wheels now. Shakes the same way on my buggy thought the diff was slipping and making it jolt around. Learned something new.
This makes me feel stupid for not posting my talion 😂🤦🏽♂️ I literally have the worlds fastest Aarma Talion and it looks just like this 1/5 GRPS but a front splitter aswell..
