I live in a different country from the rest of my family and friends, and because of Covid-19, I couldn't meet my friends here either. During Toy Day many of the villagers said something along the lines of "it's so nice to celebrate Toy Day with you! It's nice for you to be here!" I cried a little bit after hearing that. And then proceeded to call all my friends and family to wish them Merry Christmas :)
Kora is still addicted to toys, every Christmas she will be young once again, also this is where my villager pashmina went to when she left my island, luckly she has a good home 🥳🤩
None of my moved out villagers have good homes but Pietro (well not really) Pietro now belongs to my bff but she is always busy playing BOTW And sprinkle just moved out of my cousins island but my cousin treated sprinkle better than the girl who plays BOTW
In toy day my friends (as in my villagers) legit thought I was Santa because of how good my costume was, also it was so cool to exchange gifts with my villagers! I really liked Toy Day and I hope the other events are just as good!
I would have liked the Toy Day event to have been more engaging also, especially since its right before Yule. Though, I did have fun and gave all my villagers secret letter presents.
I would have enjoyed more than just so much running around the island looking for people. And every time I tried to give Fauna her present she plopped on her butt which she seems to like to do a lot anyway.
I agree. I loved the Turkey Day event because of how involved it was (and all the furniture and recipes you got). I was a little disappointed in the Toy Day event by comparison. I found all my villagers very quickly so I finished early and it was underwhelming.
When jingle said something of the lines... “hang up the toy day stockings.. you might have something in them if you leave them up tonight” I thought he was serious....😐
Kora, you could have talked to a villager, any villager and say never mind about the gift exchange thing and they will say, “oh do you not have wrapping paper? Here take this and come see me when your done.” And they will give you the EXACT wrapping paper you need to craft the Gift Pile and the EXACT amount you need too. That happened with me because I didn’t have red wrapping paper either, and my Nooks wasn’t selling it. This seriously worked for me. I used it to craft the gift pile since I didn’t really need wrapping paper. I was so happy about that. Just thought I’d point it out. Your videos helped me a lot when I first started playing Animal Crossing, and they still help me now. Hope you had a Merry Christmas! 😊
My favorite part was design ankha's joy and glee when I gave her the present. She gave me one right back, even though she was the very first one I went to. I'm glad she got what she wanted.
It's only the 28th and Toy Day/Christmas seems like a distant memory. I can't wait for New Year's Eve and get to enjoy the fireworks inside while wearing noise-cancelling headphones to drown out the fireworks going on outside.
I do appreciate how short it is though, because I feel like Turkey Day was too long. Especially in 2020 when I played Turkey Day I was balancing cooking and hanging out with my family + finishing the event, which did make it a tad stressful. However, I loved Toy Day's length and even though they could have made it a bit longer, I think it was the perfect amount so that I could actually hang out with family and do presents.
this whole video brought the Holiday Spirit, which i really needed. (( also for anyone who wanted to know, you can get up to three presents from the three villagers that you have super high friendship with ))
You know... Keeping that Magic Bag, and having it forever be a pocket dimension that could only ever hold gifts (thus saving your actual pocket space) would probably have been awesome.
My favourite holiday, Christmas is just the best and all the villagers with their cute hats, I wish they were all outside during events. I had Fang stare at the tree all day haha
For every gift you exchange with your villagers, they will give you one of the toys. Since I’m also trying to complete my catalogue, I did the gift exchange with all 4 of my player characters and got two or three colorways for most of the items. Anyway, I adore your content! Thank you for posting your Toy Day!
kinda cant believe i found your channel just under 24 hours ago and ive already watched all your acnh videos since just before the release of the game while binge playing T-T
Do you think you could do a video ranking all of the holidays? I know you can’t make it until March at the earliest, but I think it would make a very interesting video!
I'm working for Christmas so I can't go home. This will be how I celebrate and I'm really excited. Not time traveling so the anticipation is really nice.
Be careful with giving villagers fossils. To my understanding, while they do not display them, they do still take a spot in their inventory, meaning if given too many, eventually they'll start getting rid of their furniture to make room. If you're looking for an alternative, wrapping 2 non native fruits is a good gift if you have nothing specific to give.
So u asked me wats my favorite part of toy day.........actually participating in it! No lie I got the game in early October & missed both Halloween & Turkey day, & legitimately did toy day at 2:41am CHRISTMAS MORNING!! Every one of my villagers were asleep except Renée the rhino, so I did manage to giv 1 present lol! I surely hope I can do new year's, but even that might not happen given my track record 🤪 luv ya K-beans, & hope u hav a blessed new years!
hey kora i just wanna say that i buyed animal crossing cuz of your vids! thank you so much it´s being an incredible experience. anyway, Happy New Year! i hope you saw my comment.
Kora I think there’s a glitch in acnh, my villagers talk to another villager and pick up their catchphrase! For example,Zucker talked to Tia and now he says teacup. And nibbles talked to Rory now she says his catchphrase
My favorite part was exchanging gifts with my villagers and being able to get the different color variations of the toy day items from my villagers of the color variations that I had wanted. Also what was everyone’s favorite color variation of the different toy day toys?
I wish I had known they would actually put their presents up before Toy Day, so I could have given them more fossils too! I assumed it was a special event and they wouldn't use them in their house. Now I messed up all their houses that I had been working on so diligently to spruce up from all the fish/bugs I gave them early game, and the few that I had kept pristine/ungifted to this point. *cry*
I thought toy day was on the 25 like Christmas... So yea, turns out it was one day before... I wasnt prepared at all and it was super late,so I needed to go to sleep, and I got almost no event rewards :(
