Our last two days of New York Toy Fair! I worked really hard to make sure I hit almost every booth I wanted to!! I think I did a good job :) I had so much fun and it was such an incredible experience. I was surprised that even on the last day I was STILL discovering new products to reveal!!

I've seen other dolltubers in the past do Toy Fair, but those videos make it feel like a smaller event because they only show small bits and pieces. This really felt like a huge event with tons to see. Thanks for taking the time to cover so many awesome things, it's much appreciated. Not only do we see the upcoming dolls but a variety of figures, plushies, dollhouses, displays, anime merch, and other items, plus the extra bits like the little parade and Precious Moments sculptor and even Grimlock, so cool to see a transformer that actually transforms.

The calico critters have my heart. They’re so nostalgic to me. Idk if anyone else remembers learning express but mine had a huge calico critters display that went to the ceiling and it was so cozy and cute there because they had a table and a few sets to play with. I remember them being out of my moms budget but she would buy me the panda babies set (pandas were my fav animal then) and I loved them so much when I got them for Christmas. I really think I gotta get the ocean ones. If they make a coconut crab or a hermit crab it’s over for me

HOLY S**T, I am amazed of how they brought back Rainbow Brite, my favorite series of the 80’s, despite being a Gen Z to this franchise. I recall watching the series a few years back and I remember loving it, so it makes perfect sense to me to fangirl at the new toys.

It's quite a big issue with dolls here in Europe in general. I still haven't figured out why they're not adding more diversity as dolls with different colours, disabilities etc definitely sell here as well

It can also be a result of the men in suits finalising decisions and the distributers like it used to be a thing for some stores to not stock darker skinned dolls and that again could be a result of the management or a karen

My cousin who passed away almost 26 years ago. She was born in 1977 a couple years after me. But when we were kids I was about 9 years old she was 7. We lived next door to each other I would go over her house to play Strawberry Shortcake with her plus I loved the smell of certain characters like Purple Pie Man & Huckleberry Pie. She would play Masters of the universe & Star Wars with me. So it brings Nostalgia to me when I see these. I miss her very very very much, that it brings tears to my eyes.

There are so many cool things about to hit shelves and comming soon!… the problem is definitely having money 💰 for everything you’re interested in. I’m definitely interested in those rainbow bright and strawberry shortcake dolls they have so many joints yet are small with fabric fashions!

I cant believe you got me wanting Warrior Cats merch in the year 2023 but those look so neat and Yellowfang *is* absolutely the best character (tho Ravenpaw will always be my sweet baby boy, too fragile for this world, he will always live in my heart.) The Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite dolls look amazing, but I have to be so careful about space so I'm so happy they've got multiple kinds of minifigures I can choose between. Figurekey is really cool too, I love the cross between doll and figure and plush - I really want to feel one for myself. The Jazwares Pokemon figures with the little environments look like a fantastic alternative to the ReMent Pokemon sets (which can get *so* expensive), I'm so excited something like that's coming out and I'd love to see them get successful and come out with more! Tysm for being so dedicated to showcasing as much as you can (while being respectful to the companies, of course), I can't imagine how exhausting this all must've been. This is definitely a labor of love and I love following you when you have adventures like this. :)

Here in France we already have a lot of the Calico Critters ( called Sylvanian Families) families ( penguins, giraffes, Fennecs, sheep…). I had some when I was little and had a frog family who lived in the manor house. I loved all the detail in the sets and all the different animals. The porcupines are actually hedgehogs, at least in Europe.

Yes Peach Blush is the name of the SSC character you were holding and Strawberry's cat is Custard. There are many other characters not depicted here in the first line up so LOTS to look forward to I'm sure and I can't wait! Do we have price points for these yet, and the larger Rainbow Brite dolls? OH MY GOD RODY yeah they were a big thing in italy when i was little!! My cousins and i didn't even play with them as intended, we just used them to play horse vet, one time the big yellow rody had to be put down and it was really tragic and emotional

When I saw the new Rainbow Brite dolls I literally SCREAMED! been wanting one for years! I'm definitely buying immediately when they release, but I really hope we get Moonglow! The 80s dolls are extremely rare and expensive. I hope they release her because she had one of the best designs.

Thank you so much for all the videos. It was so much fun to watch them all! I love the Calico Critters. In the late 80s/early 90s we had a similar series in Europe from Simba that I really enjoyed playing with. (I don't know if you had them in the US too?) So I always get nostalgic when I see the Calico Critters/Sylvanian Families in stores, but I try to avoid them because I don't have room to collect them too 😅

I've seen those Rody things so many times but never knew what they are called. I think they are very popular in Austria (makes sense, it's next to Italy). I do find the placement of the air hole a little gruesome though, poor babies. The plushies are super cute. Also, this made me want to collect Sylvanian Families SO BAD. They are too precious, especially the pastel colored fantasy stuff. I will have to restrain myself for spacial reasons, but will keep admiring them from afar.

Def excited for the Crayola lols ❤❤❤ my Walmart has fairie garden I bought her for my daughter to open this weekend for her 10th bday 🎉🎉🎉🍄🍄🍄 oh wow I’ve also never heard of Lottie dolls either. I’m excited for the mini cereal by super impulse def in the new hersheys sugar buzz minis the Hershey kisses are my fav.

Have you seen the Whisper of the Heart movie released earlier this year (I think it was released in Japan in 2022)? It is very sweet, they meet up again 10 years later. If you haven't seen it you should.

One piece omg 😂we stumbled upon that show and ended up watching the entire series in three days we enjoyed it a lot. We watched the one with actual people not the animated so I can't vouch for that one but the one with actual people in it was quit fun and entertaining you and Bret should definitely watch it for a good laugh ❤❤

Wow, it is super cool that you are associated with Entertainment Earth. I was really surprised that I never heard. You mentioned them before but I love that company. They're really good to their customers. Also, didn't you say you didn't like the vinyl pops? I'm must have misunderstood. But I wish you were to spend a little more time in that booth since you are affiliated with them. I love Funko Pops. I think they're adorable. But I'm sure you were running out of time, and maybe we'll see some of the Entertainment Earth booth in a short.

Are they rereleasing all the Rainbow brite characters, I have a original Rainbow in box, it is so hard to find her friends , I will be getting a stormy as from the movie she is my fave . The new Strawberry looks drugged they need to change her eyes .

I wonder if eventually the dolls, so incredibly beautiful, will be released. MGA should respond to the multitude of disappointments it has done by canceling these glamorous dolls!!!

Rainbow High is not a better buy, in my opinion. Rainbow high dolls are too similar to justify long-term success in the brand. Count my words, but Rainbow High will burn out soon. At least monster high has obvious differences between their dolls, sculpts, and characters. Mga is a nightmare to deal with when you have issues with the dolls as well. So I am not swayed by the popularity of these. They have they ugly articulation that doesn't even have the full range of motion others do with less articulation..idk just love the fashion. That's the only part that I see quality.

I just like them and find them to be significantly higher quality. So my opinion is that they are a better use of the money 🤷‍♀️ even just the outfits and accessories are higher quality. I’m not saying they’re a better purchase for no reason

@xCanadensis I love that you enjoy them! Rainbow high and shadow high is already starting to pile up at the thrift stores all around my area. The quality is lost on a sea of look-alikes and that makes it seem like a copy and paste type of situation. Idk if high quality fashions and hair make them actually higher quality all around.. but consumers will do what consumers do..consume regardless ♡ I just don't work with brands or have any bias to them that's all ♡ Keep loving what you do and be safe!

:/ I’ve been saying they’re my favorite since the moment they came out and I continue to love and support monster high when I’ve never worked with them. A company sending me a few free dolls isn’t going to make me lie and claim they’re my favorite when they’re not. I don’t “work with” any brands. except I guess entertainment earth and zenmarket but that’s only as far as affiliate marketing. I really do not understand how me liking a brand equates to me lying or something? I have no reason to do so. I’ve collected, loved and praised monster high since I was literally 12. They’ve never sent me a damn thing. I doesn’t effect me. Rainbow high has sent me a few packages and I’m grateful but that started in 2022. Two years of me speaking exactly this highly of RH before that. :/
