Hello Phil Thank you for coming to my workshop And thank you for your polite and wonderful comments I'm an amateur, an old man who enjoys woodworking, and I also love relaxing videos. Gratitude and friendship from Japan
What a coincidence, yesterday I also built hold down clamps for my crosscut sled. Your clamps look very beautiful. By working with two different types of wood, you create a nice effect. Well done my friend!
Hello Thank you for a nice comment It's a nice event with the same idea as me! Recently I have come to recognize that safety first leads to accurate work. Lamps are a necessity that appears in many scenes of woodworking. Thank you my friend See you
A fan of your works, you make things look so, so, so simple but at the same time a beautiful piece of art of woodworking. Thanks for sharing. A fan from Brazil. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Hello teacher again, every day I enjoy more with the videos, it's like a child waiting for the birthday gift, thank you very much for your time and your dedication.
Excellent new tool. Thank you for sharing this video. This has inspired me to use some scrap 45° angle corner cut offs that I can turn into clamps following the basic idea you have shared. BTW, I think it was very clever to use the half dowel as the feet for your clamps.
Hello, Jeffery Thank you for always watching my video And thanks for the wonderful comment This is my favorite tool, the use of half dowels was supposed to break but it's more robust than you imagine! Thank you
😂😂hahahaha😂😂, yes I also thought they looked like racing cars 🚘 Magnificent build, mate 👍 I am not only impressed with the amount of care and pride in each of your works, but also the amount of effort you invest in your camera work. 👏👏👏 Great work, buddy.
Hello Bill A long nose racing car toy minicar equipped with an in-line 12-cylinder engine 70 years ago! My wife also said that ^ ^ I also thank you for evaluating the details of my video production. I aim for a video with less discomfort by myself. Thank you See you again
Hello Thank you for a nice comment I am particularly happy to admire my video. This process can be made efficiently and beautifully. A pleasure to share with you. Thank you See you
Hello thank you for your comment I am an amateur I can not make complicated things for me now! But I always make it with all my heart. Thank you for enjoying my video See you
Hello Welcome to my video and thank you for your nice comments I believe this cute clamp is the easiest and most accurate way I've ever made. This method is recommended if you do DIY too. Thank you See you
Hello, jimbonikola Thank you for watching my video I am honored for your wonderful comments. This clamp was designed to be easy, accurate and beautiful to manufacture. Thank you See you
If you run your dowel through a thickness planer it will make a flat side to whatever thickness you want for the length of the dowel. Works great, I do it all the time with 1/2" (13mm) dowels. Other sizes of dowels work also. I like your videos.
Hello Thank you for your nice comment on my video Thank you for your blessing This clamp was tried with the concept of making it as simple and precise as possible, I enjoyed watching you Thank you See you
Hello Thank you for accessing my video Please make it, you can make this process easily and accurately. Please arrange the size and design you need. Good luck Thank you See you
Hello Thank you for giving me a word of admirable praise I am happy to be praised by you who have a keen sense of aesthetics! Thank you obediently See you again
Hello Thank you for a nice comment This part is not easily obtained! Parts not owned are handmade! Then it works well. Thank you for watching the video See you
Hello James Welcome to my video And thank you for your wonderful comments I designed this clamp so that anyone can make it easily and accurately Your comments have strengthened me Thank you Have a nice holiday
Where do I begin? You’ve done it again my friend. You have managed to turn a mundane simple clamp into a uniquely stylish, functional, beautiful looking piece that is an invaluable aid to safe working practice. I really love how you use contrasting timber to laminate your creations which gives them a discreet style personal to you. I would now recognise your particular style in any future items you produce. It’s like having your own particular signature just like famous artists have their own style, by this I mean, you may only have seen a few of their paintings but if you then saw another of theirs that you had never seen before, you would still recognise it as that particular artists work. Most people that make functional tools for their own use seldom bother to make the piece attractive in the way you have but most often just settle for it to be functional only. I also really like your toggle clamp too, it is not only very functional but beautiful to look at as well. I would be quite happy having them in a display cabinet because of how interesting and aesthetically pleasing it is to look at. I imagine looking at these pieces that they are surly very tactile to hold and touch. Who would imagine that an everyday workshop item that is relatively simple could be so appealing to look at. I think you may have worked out that I enjoy your videos and especially looking at the finished project. By the way, your video editing is also very good too. Not so slow that it becomes boring but not to much cut out that it’s difficult to follow. The music does not distract from watching either. Unfortunately with some other people’s videos the poor choice in sound track make it that you want to stop watching. I like other’s that have commented really appreciate you taking the time to put together a well edited video of your wonderful work. Thank you. I don’t know who the idiot was that gave this video it’s only thumbs down but I can only imagine your work has made them feel inadequate with their own skill level. If people don’t like something in a persons video at least have the decency to leave a polite comment what it was they did not like. There is nothing wrong with well meaning constructive criticism, that’s how we all learn to continually hone our skills as we go through life.
Hi Steve How do you respond to your heartwarming wonderful comments I am already blessed with many old people, but many people who support me, why I can get a lot of support is a dreamlike and unbelievable event! I must be very lucky! ! There are no blueprints for everything I make, only images and sketches. I do not feel like learning special education from now on, sometimes I have advice in comments, it is as knowledge, I just enjoy woodworking. Thank you See you
Ohyo56 Hi thank you for taking time to reply. I think feel we share the same views that woodworking is a pleasure to be treasured. In fact I think that anyone that has a skill with their hands that they enjoy doing whether it’s for work or pleasure, is a gift. It is so rewarding to take raw materials and turn them into something useful and beautiful to look at. There are many clever people in the world but not all of them can produce anything with their hands and if you are one of the few that can, then it should be seen as a gift.
I absolutely agree completely. There are indeed some extremely intelligent people in the world, however in many cases these people although they have fantastic brains cannot do the simplest things like change a light bulb let alone hang a door. It also seems in a lot of instances these intellectuals cannot work with their hands, which although it is unlikely to earn you a huge wealth, I’d argue that working with your hands and producing something useful and very beautiful to look at, is far more rewarding than being able to add up a lot of numbers in your head. That is not to say that there are not any intellectual jobs that aren’t rewarding, it’s just that when making things with your own hands you have a special connection with it which I would suggest our ancestors also experienced perhaps to a greater degree, especially when they didn’t have electrically powered devices to do the intricate work such as cutting complicated joints, planing timber to size or a whole number of other techniques done by hand. It truly is a gift.
Hi Steve Thank you for your wonderful comments Your consent to me gives me a bright future. I will move forward with confidence tomorrow. Thank you precious friends
Ohyo56 We share the same passion and I think we both strive to make our next project better than the last one. I particularly like your work because you not only produce fine work, you also have a very calm and methodical approach but you are also very ingenious at the same time. I wish I had your skills at inventing every day things for the workshop that can replace shop bought items. This is a separate skill in itself and you make it look so easy, which is what all talented people do, make things look simple when in fact the opposite is true. It is a joy to watch you work my friend.
Very nice video of your amazing wood working skills. I love watching them because to me your not rushing anything a d the end results are beautiful. Thank you sir for sharing your talents with us.
Hello,Ron Thank you for watching the video and nice comments You relaxed this video and had a slow time, that is my hope, and my pleasure. Thank you See you
Hello Adam Thank you for watching multiple videos And thanks for the nice comment. This clamp is designed to be minimal, easy and accurate to make. Thank you Sincerely

Hello David Thank you for coming to my workshop And thank you for the wonderful comment I'm silent in the video because I can only speak my native Japanese, sorry! But I love woodworking, video shooting and video editing. Thank you for your subscription Let's meet again

Saludos
Thumbs up for: - flattening the dowels on a sander, seems about the safest way to do this - using laminated inserts to make bolt holes, better than my efforts with a drill 😝 - working on a large piece then cutting for individual parts; yes it is obvious but sometimes I neglect this approach and cut first 🙄
Hello GedSoft Thank you for watching my video And thank you for your polite and wonderful comments I suggested how to make it as easy and accurate as possible. Thank you for coming GedSoft
Hello Thank you for a nice comment I am very happy if you say so! You too, please make it with this recipe and it will work well! Thank you for watching the video See you
Hello Thank you for watching the video Thank you for a nice comment It's been about 2 years since I first enjoyed woodworking! I realized the importance of the clamp, for safety ... Thank you See you
Sir, Beautiful pieces of art. They have a practical purpose, yes, but like many of your hand made items, they come out just perfect!! I have to ask, are you sure your not a movie producer? This is the nicest video I have seen done on RU-vid. I know because I watch videos all day while working (the TV is all ways on when in the shop) and mostly woodworking videos, but wow, this one stands way out from any other. The introduction of music was spot on and beautiful as well. We all stopped working to watch your video and as the boss, I was the first one to sit down to watch, LOL.
Hello I am honored to have such a wonderful comment! I am very pleased that I have been recognized. I also watch the same woodworking videos I love all day long as you. Thank you for enjoying my video at the company See you again
Hello Thank you for a nice comment I saw it in a toy mini car. If it is made of 3 pieces, it is efficient and will not fail! This is an amateur technique. Thank you See you
@ Bill Carroll, I second that ! The t-track table seem to be a drill table. You made those yourself? What's holding them down, how much pull can they handle? Real nice idea you got using a pencil rubber? as holding device I will use that in the future. Thanks for the video :#)
Obrigado Jorge Tachi
I'm 62 years oud and I hope to be abel to work like you at your age (which I don't know ). And you triggered me to make a workbench with (clamping) rail. Thx!
Hello You and I are the same generation! Let's enjoy life. Clamping the parts on the work table is for safety and correct work. May your tomorrow be a good day Let's meet again
Hello, Peter Thank you for always accessing my video And nice comment. A disk sander that will greatly help my work! My Favorites. Thank you my friend from Japan See you
Hello Thank you for a nice comment It is difficult to drill this type of hole with a drill bit! It is efficient if it is made of 3 pieces! Thank you my friend See you
A beautiful build, well thought out, just one question , I noticed a couple of painted finger nails on your left hand ???, fashion or some new safety tip lol, anyway, great job, thanks for posting from Garry in the UK
Hello garry Thank you for accessing my video And thank you for your nice comments Your question is the second time outside of you! I run a hair salon and this nail painting is a hair color work! After 45 years in this job, the nails are no longer peeled off, would you feel uncomfortable? ? sorry Thank you I hope you'll come to see me again
Hello Thank you for a nice comment Thank you for giving me the tools I use I like this bit. I will buy at a home improvement center near my house. However, I found it in Amazon, Amazon Japan. www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0029F17N8/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_YvDfDbZ6QHCPB
Hello, bendem Thank you for coming to my channel And thank you for the nice comment I used a straight drill bit but it was a little tight. Sorry for the video that confuses you! Thank you

Hello Thank you for a nice comment This tree was supposed to be disposed of I got it from my neighbor. There is no certain information about this tree. Maybe it's a hardwood like oak or bubinga. It is indispensable for the production of clamps! Thank you See you
Very nice work. You went through all the trouble to make the bar of the clamp and then you just put a plastic knob on top? I would've expected you to make the knob too.
Hello Thank you for a nice comment In fact, I made a knob of the same size as this plastic knob. But the subtle colors and shapes did not match. If I find a good idea, I will make it again. Thank you See you
bon dia! This is like a classic lacing car. its a so cute. This month too much rainy days in japan. but you are happy , because your workshop is no rain place . I want a me too.
Bonito comentario gracias
Hello, TotalReformas Thank you for always watching my video And thank you for the good comments I'm an amateur, so I don't have any knowledge of wood, and I got a waste wood from my neighbor that was supposed to be used for a bonfire. It's a very hard and upscale "Apiton" or "Sucupira Vermelho" and my neighbor told me that the tree grows in the Philippines and Indonesia. This waste timber may be a mixture of different species! Thank you
