Wow! I mean wow! I am very impressed by this version of Voltron and I intend on pulling the trigger on my own soon after ordering my old matchbox Voltron off eBay only to realize as an adult it is not as awesome as I remember it was as a 9 year old. So glad this one came out
Thank you so much for your help. I went straight to toy arena right after you said it. I was able to still get a Voltron for $329.99. I simply love it. Huge upgrade from the Voltron matchbox from the '80s.
Very well done on this review! I really appreciate the great video quality and lighting! Voltron is one of my all time favorite combining super robots and Bandai really did it justice with this SOC release. I already have the SOC Megazord on pre-order and can't wait for that to arrive. Now it Bandai ever does a SOC Mighty Orbots, that too would be a day 1 purchase! Keep up the great work!
@@KumaStyle ..Box is unwrapped, but the Voltron Lion's and accessories inside is wrapped and in it's proper case. Not only it's kept brand new, but smells like it too. Haha.
This was my First Soul of Chogokin Piece. And its Amazing. Then i got the Arcadia Space Ship and Yamato GX-57. Cherry Picking Childhood pieces. Amazing line.
Will you get the threezero Voltron? it has lion leg covers like blitzway and it has more articulation than SOC Voltron. and it can transform/combine. what do you think of it?
so glad they made the red and green lions' tails removable. i remember the one i had in the 80's would break off in the socket so no more transformations. may have to lay down some bills for this one day
I wish they made the lion mouths white instead of silver. I also wish the stripe down the nose of the blue, red and green lion was also white. Something about the crisp white with the primary colors really pop. Not that this incredible piece isn’t already poppin! Just a little something I would like for my own customized one. I’d add the number decals too. I guess I want a mix between the original toy and the anime accuracy of the soul of chogokin at the same time. It’s a silly nit pick I know. Definitely a gorgeous piece though.
Lovely review man! I really like the figure, I grew up watching re-runs of voltron on boomerang so I have very fond memories of this bot! It's just too bad I can't afford this XD; but keep up the good work man!
Good review of a damn good looking figure. Really reminds me of the original version I used to have. Yeah I still am pissy that it got given away when I was younger. Anyway, on that old version on blue and yellow lion there was one more weapon on each. The yellow lion the 'cheeks' could fold out for two extra cannons and on the blue you could lift up the ears and thus the cranium and also get an extra cannon. This not present on this one?
its 2018, you dont have to make the black lion super deformed size anymore! I hated that with the toy as kid. Im not wrong, the lion were all the same size in the cartoon right?
Can you do a disengagement video for both SOC Voltrons. I fine them hard to disenage back to their vehicle/lion forms without feeling like im using too much force.
Voltan is the greatest robot cartoon / toy ever made... And it is the main reason for the power rangers the power rangers got the entire idea from Voltron...when I was young both time was my favorite cartoon in my life... And I like this toy right here because it is the closest to the cartoon... I've seen some that don't even look like Voltron.. this is a nice one

Kuma Style You think so? Transformers toys like Megatron and Optimus prime are like Voltron size already. And the combiners are 20 inches tall now days. Just my opinion lol
@@robertfang8437 Yes because the parts and materials would take this from being a $300 product to one towards 1,000 USD at that size. It doesn't matter what plastic Transformers are sized at as this isn't meant to display with that stuff anyways.
