I remember watching this in the theaters and EVERYONE, including myself, cried when Andy left. I was heading to college that year so this movie hit me really hard.

I love how Andy thanked his toys,meaning they all gave him an amazing childhood and that he's grateful.

Watching Andy donating his old toys to Bonnie at end was surprisingly sad and deep. Him attending college without his prized collectable toys seemed unfair. But he had sacrificial purpose. Andy sacrificed himself of creating donation to Bonnie. My heart became broken inside. Shocked me knowing our toys will still have soft spot deepen inside our hearts. Moral message of every toy story movie. Cherish your toys as kid while you get chance. Once owners donate their toys to charities. Play time is over. Nevertheless in order of creating fun memories with toys. Continue making toy donations for all kids. They acknowledge antique toys with dignity, respect, loyalty, equality and tranquility. At certain moment during our lives, person have to do what is righteous. Owners are beneficial without toys. Kids are happy the previous owners donated variety of toys to munchkins. The parents say to the person "thank you of giving our children your old toys. By contributing yourself of making our kids jolly, we become excited with antique old toys". Occasionally you will encounter parents leaving commentary for previous owner. Especially if there are families. I spent awhile writing moral message on my commentary. Though I am done. Sequenced each moral value on my message. Sophie I am sorry on writing long philosophical message. I felt the mood of taking time. Giving powerful explanation based on real statistical enlightenment. When I was 5 years old I watched Toy Story 1 and 2 in 2006 and fell in love with both movies, when I asked my dad if there was a 3rd one he said no and its been 7 years since they made Toy Story 2. I was crushed thinking there will never be another. Lo and behold in 2010 Toy Story 3 came out and I begged my parents for weeks to take me to watch it on opening day. Even though I am 21 now, I was always remember Toy Story 3 as one of the best theater experiences in my lifetime. Sadly, I was going to college when Toy Story 4 released, but ended up watching it and cried so much.

1) Part of why these movies are so effective is that the filmmakers tap into that brief period in childhood when we imprint backstories and personalities onto our toys and make up adventures for them. The beginning of the 2nd & 3rd movies set that up. The other half of that same concept is that when we leave our toys or throw/give them away, there is an eyedropper’s worth of guilt there because our inner child still believes that those toys are (in their own way) alive. 2) The “inferno” near-death scene is heartbreaking, but when Andy goes away to college I f**king LOST it in the movie theater. That part of his inner child that he metaphorically leaves behind is relatable, but the feelings don’t fade as fast as we think. And when I had kids of my own…hoooooo boy does it come roaring back 😂😂 3) Great reaction as always and toys are alive byeeeee

It's still crazy how CGI has changed so much and how we can make realistic worlds.

That part where Buzz Light-year, Woody & the gang were trapped in that furnace was dark.

The reason Bo Peep was cut from this movie, being a porcelaine doll, she wouldn't have survived the incenerator scene. Once, I accidently left a plate on a hot stove and it cracked, so you can guess what would happen to Bo in this situation. Even if I thought it was sad that Bo Peep was sold away, I'm okay with this because if Bo was donated along with the other toys, either Woody would have a difficult time chosing to stay with his girl or go with Andy to College, or possibly abandon Andy for Bo's sake.

22:10 - This scene reminds me the final of "THE TOWERING INFERNO" (1974), when people are waiting for the big explosion. 🤷‍♀️

There are only 2 movies that can make me cry and this is one of them

19:25 me n my mom's favourite🤣 Spanish Buzz was the BEST Buzz in Toy Story's history❤ this was the reason why Toy Story 3 "wasnt" my favourite when i was very young. It scarred my adolescent's life😢 but it doesnt scarred my whole life, that's a gd thing. So many heartbreaking moments. Lotso's back story is the only story that couldnt moved me unlike Jessie's. N yeah Woody is the only "soul" that would do anyth for others even when others ill-treated him. Toy story 3 was the saddest ever made... But also was crazy I liked it

When I get from this movie it's like passing the torch the toys are so special to him he found someone that could take care of the toys as much as he did through his lifetime of living so he passed him down to Bonnie instead of some random person by selling them or donating them the toys phenomenally done end of a trilogy for the character of Andy and his toys the next sequel is toy story 4 it's supposed to take place differently to different idea for the generation kids that are growing up with toy story 4 story lines and stuff

Yessssss!!! I still love this movie even though the ending still breaks me (yeah don't feel bad for crying. My eyes got a little watery just from watching this). This movie had the best ships and I fucking live for Spanish Buzz haha. But I'll be honest, I have not seen the 4th one just cause to me it didn't seem necessary. I had a Slinky Turtle when I was 4 years old way way back in the 60s, I had him with me all the time, I put him down one time to eat breakfast while I watched tv I went back to get him only to see him crawl under the couch by itself and never come back out.
