Toyah's story, worthy of a movie, now I understand why the Profesor of Prog Rock Mr. Robert Fripp married her. All my admiration as an artist and as a human being.
@TheWatcherofsky love how determined she is. Especially when you have a mother with issues glad she never get her down you're a legend iconic woman xxx
Toyah, I loved listening to your life story❤ I am 62 and you are my history! Thank you for being so open and honest, I hope that one day your life story can be made into a movie 🙏🥰
The live show with Robert? Haven’t seen it as not in the UK but will do when I get the chance. She was always unfairly vilified and seems to finally be understood. I guess that’s positive about the passage of time. I love this interview. She’s so open, sharp, clear, concise and a little bit out there which I always like!
Toyah you are such a strong, intelligent, talented orator, dancer, performer and woman Such a skilled speaker with the heart and soul of a lion Wishing you and Robert your soul mate continued health and contentment
I also had a negative mother who said that I looked like a prostitute when I dyed my hair orange. I agree sheep farming in Barnet is one of the best albums on the planet! Thanks for the interview; it was a delight to watch and listen xx
Such an interesting interview! I could have listened much longer to you both lol. Always liked Toyah as a visionary artist. I'm a fan of Tales of the unexpected and she is in one of my favourite episodes of that too
She's great. I only knew bits and pieces about her life, so this interview was good for giving a greater insight. She's been through a lot but always somehow seemed to remain level-headed and just kept going, and hasn't fallen into the trap of victim hood. It seems as if she's always been aware that challenges are really lessons to learn, and she uses them to become a more evolved human being.
Love Toyah …. I regressed her for a Tv show back to Past Life as a Anchoress …. She has a wisdom from other realms and you see her past life on RU-vid … in private practice I weave between past lives , inner child and ancestral programming so I find this interview fascinating ❤❤❤
Sorry a bit late with this comment What a great interview my wife absolutely love’s Toyah she thot she knew everything about her but your interview changed all that 😮what a story she has what an amazing person she is we all have memories bad memories about our childhood but we never knew all that so THANKYOU for the interview Steve 👍
@@anthonycallaghan3717 thx. I know, to be honest when I got the interview I uncovered so much fascinating stuff that it became more of a challenge how I could get all this and more out of her. I respected her ten times more after the interview and I loved her from the 80s.
Oh my god i thought you spoke like that because you were posh.ive admired you since I was a kid and you were on TV.i have athsma and although it not physical I felt left out because of it.I must admit I'm very much like toyah, independent artistic self confident and happy in my own skin, I just love the way toyah explains what she has done and compliments others for their hard work whilst bigging up her own work. Just about everything is good about toyah, good luck on the dancing, you have won already to me.
I find her the same I'm afraid. I'm old enough to remember her from the 80s. I feel that nowadays she has a desperate need to be constantly in the limelight. I appreciate that unless musicians are worth millions then they need to keep the money coming in somehow. I like her husband... and his music but she is trying too hard nowadays. You can tell from this film too that she's had yet more surgery. Her lower face is pulled back so tight. Nothing wrong at all with having an opinion different from the others. And that's all it is. An opinion.
