I miss this era, it was an amazing time for these series and toys. Never saw these in the day

The Ghost Rider/Midnight Sons corner of the marvel universe needs to be represented today in marvel legends

These are awesome toys. Proportions are cartoony, but that is the charm of Toy Biz, just makes the toys more expressive, so to speak. It would be cool if the line had lasted longer, and we got more characters like Blackheart, Lilith or, even, Phantom Rider with a horse (all in GitD plastic.. :D).

These toys had intense character & depth for 1995, very epic energy then.

The years before i had internet. I still remember my mom being kinda embarrassed in kb toys by the mini freakout i had when i saw these the first time

What even made these even cooler, were the fact they used to come with a small comic book in the package behind the figure.

I think I remember seeing these when I was a kid at Big Lots, they had some good toys back then

OMG, I got my Toy Biz Ghost Rider figures at a K-Mart buy 2 get one free sale too! I got the transforming Danny Ketch, Johnny Blaze and Blackout (I don't think my store had many of the others to pick from). I really need to fill out this line after all these years.

Sweet I have the Zarthos Figure I've been wanting to get the full line but they're just so darn expensive unless you get them loose. I also have the 10in Ghost Rider action figure which is glorious. Yet I also love the box art I haven't taken him out I think I'll purchase another one to display down the line when the prices go down

I remember those animated cameos. Did anyone ever wonder what story / connections Gambit could have had with GR? That would have made for great episode of X-Men!

I just bought a full collection of wave one sealed basically mint. Best $125 spent. My Dad took me to the toy store to buy these as a kid. One of my fondest memories as a kid.

I got the ghost rider with the exploding chest....still in the package. .

Blackout was just a human albino who had a taste for blood. He didn't have life force draining abilities that's just from that movie. He just had surgically implanted vampire teeth and a superhuman ability to snuff out light whether it be from electronics or even a match that cypress pool joker member angel lit when blackout showed up to kill him. He later found out he had ties to the lilin and begged Lilith to imbue him with demonic power. Which she did. After that point he became an actual vampire/demon. But yeah blackout definitely drank blood it shows it multiple times but in the beginning he did it out of preference and he was more along the lines of a human serial killer. I feel like he may have been a mutant In his early career but that's just speculation and doesn't matter anyway after midnight sons when he becomes a full fledged demon
