Finalizing the motor run capacitor replacement after a hodge podge replacement consisting of 2 capacitors in series scavenged from a couple discarded table fans. Lastly narrow down the noise on the left channel contributed by a noisy transistor, after warm-up. Will replace it with a KSC1845 at a later date.

Please record this whole tape PLEASE.... I want to hear the whole 8 track edition... PLEASE..... This was my favorite album in 1977 I was 6 and listened with my sister all the time...

Good video. I had this same deck with the same slow down issue. I sold it to someone who also fixed it with a new run motor cap.

Have a pioneer car 8 track dose make noise when it wants to! I replaced the drive motor with a extra one from a junk machine. And dose the same noise from the speakers like a brush going bad

Was hard to locate, but found one eventually.
