My 4runner is 11 years old and thankfully never needed to remove the spare. But now i know exactly how to do it. Thank you for your simplistic explanation
Glad I saw your video ! I've never had a flat but glad to see how easy it is to remove. Hopefully I will never have to use my spare. But I am glad my insurance policy covers roadside assistance.
I’m on my second 4Runner and lucky to have not had to do this, but if I do now I won’t be standing on the side of the road looking for the tools or the hole to put the tool in. :)
I try to get them to rotate all 5 tires and it usually causes a stir. Last time I got about a block away when the tire fell off!! There I was in the middle of the street wrestling a tire into the hatch. I drove straight back to the shop. Of course they blame “the new guy” which, until I explained it to them, they didn’t seem to realize made no difference to me WHO did it.
Thank you for answering my question I have noticed with the Val stem pointing down it’s easier to check the air pressure an keep my spare tire ready to use Good Videos
