Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro | 2016 Cost Breakdown | Is the 2025 Toyota 4Runner Worth it?? 

I had a 2017 trd pro that I bought new with 6 miles. I put 149k on it in 5.5 years and never had to fix one thing on it. Regular maintenance, oil changes, brakes, tires. Other than that I almost made money driving it.

Its wild to see my dream car be what people consider affordable.

jesus 36k in that add you showed. I know its a TRD but my 2020 SR5 with 40k miles single owner was 27k listed price so 30k after tax and dealer stuff in 2023. I got really lucky with my deal i guess. Also found out the previous owner added remote start and upgraded all the speakers with the JBL ones (minus the sub >_< ). Don't forget to add costs for modifications and fixing other people's problems maintenance when you buy it. Most people do not maintain their cars and at 60k the car will probably need brakes, rotors, front and rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid, transmission service, oil, brake fluid, steering fluid, all 6 zerk fittings greased, fluid film rust prevention because toyota, an alignment, and probable tires plus a lot of small little things. Cars are expensive!!!

The real living with it…my 2014 has gone fix-free for 170,000 miles for ten years…gas, oil changes, & normal maint…sounds like a way to save over most other cars/trucks to me

Avg $145 of that $810 is for interest only. Think about that… $150 PER MONTH in interest ONLY…for an 8 year old Toyota. Car will be 13 years old before it’s paid off. Nope.
