Sounds great! Only turbo upgrade? No engine internals upgrade?

Kristian V you can apply 11 psi safely to stock engine . But my car has built block

@@Yobiwan94 Built block due to previously blown engine or just for safety precaution?

@@MortalWombat22 I use built block for more boost, I apply 17psi now.

hws the turbo holding up? Will be running a 7psi spring + mbc.. my question is can i adjust the preload with compressor to open at 8psi and use mbc to hit that magic 10psi just to avoid that boost creep.. if that make sense?
@Yobiwan94
@Yobiwan94 4 года назад
I don't know other car's turbo setting, but in this FR-S, boost creep is due to too low exhaust back pressure. for example, if you use catless 3inch full exhaust, you will suffer from boost creep. I didn't experience boost creep with my exhaust - 2.5 over, 2.5 front pipe with HFC, 3" cat back. and yes , you can avoid boost creep with low preload + MBC. good luck =)

@@Yobiwan94 so I'd be good running my TRD exhaust plus the Manifold/ header that comes with the SBD kit? Probably stupid question
@Yobiwan94
@Yobiwan94 3 года назад
@@dennisprow7576 you mean TRD catback? catback size doesn't matter when boost is low . you should better use 2.5 inch size over & front pipe.
